Kourtney Kardashian is the latest female celebrity to launch a "lifestyle brand."

These are companies of the sort pioneered by Oprah and Martha Stewart that were later dragged down to the point of unintentionally hilarious self-parody by Gwyneth Paltrow.

And what service do these companies provide?

Well, they range from Blake Lively telling you how to fold napkins for your pre-Civil War-themed racist dinner party to Gwyneth Paltrow telling you how to steam your vagina.

We’re not saying there’s no equivalent in the world of male celebrities — after all, Joe Rogan has made a fortune peddling vitamin packets that you could probably buy for a tenth the price at your local CVS — but right now, it seems to be mostly women cashing in on the trend.

Of course, in Kourtney’s case, turning her famous name into a successful business might prove to be an uphill battle.

She’s got the name recognition part down, but is there any demographic who respects Kourtney’s opinion as much or more than Oprah’s, Martha’s, Gwyneth’s, or even Blake’s?

Kourtney’s business acumen isn’t even respected within her own family (see, as evidence, Kim Kardashian’s "passion" rant), and it probably doesn’t help that she named her company Poosh.

We know it’s a nickname for Khloe’s daughter, but it sounds like a portmanteau of "poop" and "douche."

Of course, none of this is to say that Kourtney’s entirely out of her depth in starting a business.

After all, she still possesses the Kardashian gift for self-promotion, as evidenced by her latest Poosh-centric Instagram post:

Kourt posted the above pic on Tuesday, along with a caption reading, "Love yourself as deeply as you love them."

The response from fans had little to do with Kourtney’s nudity and even less to do with her new business.

Instead, the comments focused mostly on what appears to be some very poor photoshopping.

As gathered by TooFab, some of the most brutal burns from Kourt’s IG followers are as follows:

"I know the Kardashians are famous for Photoshopping pics, but c’mon, man. At least make them believable!"

"You should tell your photo editor to update his skills."

"The longer you look at this photo, the more obviously f–ked up the editing is. Yikes."

"Bad Photoshop. You are missing a thigh. Fire your photographer!"

One fan even tried to put a positive spin on this horrific retouch job, commenting:

"One of the funniest Photoshops ever. Love your sense of humor! Can’t stop laughing about the leg, too."

The commenter gets an "A" for either effort or irony.

Either way, we think it’s safe to say Kourtney didn’t put this out into the world for the LOLs.

But hey, it’s certainly attracting a lot of attention — and wasn’t that the objective all along?
