Heck, attention fans of fun television everywhere:
Your favorite spoiled and sex-crazed teenagers may soon return to the small screen.
During his session at the TV Critics Association Press Tour on Thursday, The CW President Mark Pedowitz did not dismiss the notion of a Gossip Girl reboot.
In fact, he openly talked about the possibility as if it may someday happen.
There’s "a discussion happening, but I don’t know if we’re there yet," the executive told journalists in Los Angeles.
And this rather vague tease was enough to get the Internet talking, speculating and strongly hoping.
Pedowitz added that "I don’t know what [a reboot] would be," but the final decision will come down to the involvement of original Executive Producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.
"’Cause you don’t want to do anything without them," he said.
Gossip Girl ran on The CW from 2007 through 2012.
It centered on a group of privileged students at an exclusive prep school on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, chronicling their love lives and many scandals while combining legitimate drama with tongue-in-cheek humor.
In 2016, at the ATX TV Festival, Schwartz and Savage said they hadn’t thought about rebooting the series at all.
"We haven’t really explored some of those conversations," Schwartz told E! News at that time. "Maybe, I don’t know. We haven’t really thought about it."
Of course, Gossip Girl centered on the concept of an all-knowing celebrity gossip blogger who posted about the crazy happenings in the lives of the show’s main characters.
Sounds sort of like what everyone on the Internet tries to do these days, doesn’t it?
As Schwartz noted in 2016: "The world has become Gossip Girl now. … Now literally everyone is Gossip Girl."
Still, the show sucked toward the end and most of its stars have moved on.
Leighton Meester has said she doesn’t miss Gossip Girl at all.

On a far less positive note … Ed Westwick has been accused of rape.
And Chace Crawford is a pretty terrible actor.
The show could come back with an entirely new cast, of course, just like The CW did last year while rebooting Charmed.
This was a contrast to other rebooted programs that brought back most of their original casts; from Fuller House to Roseanne/The Conners to Last Man Standing to Will & Grace and Murphy Brown.
Television really is all about nostalgia these days, huh?
It’s almost like people want to return to an older, simpler, less polarizing and racist time in America.
We wonder what would make them feel this way.
