If you're following The Bachelor Spoilers, you already know the twists at the end of this season.
But what about Colton Underwood's past?
In a new interview, Colton has opened up about his romantic past, including dating and losing Aly Raisman.
Colton Underwood can't yet reveal how his season ends, but he's still making the rounds to keep the Bachelor Nation entertained.
In an appearance on the LadyGang podcast, Colton spoke to Keltie Knight, Jac Vanek, and Becca Tobin.
He opened up a lot about dating and romance -- both recently and in the past.
Colton even shares some details about filming The Bachelor.
You know those steamy, thirst-inducing shower scenes that people keeping doing an unconvincing job of mocking?
He says that the process of filming one of those scenes takes all day.
Colton says that "the virginity talk" was always the hardest part of relationships for him.
There are many good reasons (and some bad reasons) for people to date, but Colton had just one goal in mind.
He reveals that he "always dated to marry."
Given his background and his all-too-famous virginity, that is no real surprise.
And then he starts discussing his ex, Aly Raisman.
Aly Raisman is a gold medal winning Olympic gymnast.
After a famous and goofy date proposal sparked Twitter flirtations, Colton and Aly dated from 2016 to 2017.
On the podcast, Colton does describe Aly as having been his "first love."
And while Colton doesn't name her for this role, he does discuss his "worst heartbreak."
That emotional turmoil, he says, "wasn't on the show."
Colton did speak more about his time dating Aly and about their eventual breakup.
"While it was confusing and hard in the beginning," Colton began.
He continued: "it also taught me a lot about myself:"
Colton explains that he learned a lot about "what I need, what I want, what I can do better in a relationship."
"It was a big step for me," he concluded. "It was really tough."
In terms of Colton's past relationship shortcomings, Aly may very well agree that he had room for improvement.
Aly told a story in her book about having dated a professional athlete, though she did not name him.
Within the text, she says that she flew out to see the man and had a wonderful date with him on Saturday.
She says that the next day, she saw him play and that after the game, he seemed like a different person.
While she did not accuse this man of violence, she said that he seemed focused on hearing what others were saying about him.
She found this understandably off-putting, especially in light of how she had traveled just to see him for the weekend.
Falling in love is an exciting experience for the romantically inclined.
Falling out of love -- especially during a messy breakup -- teashes some difficult but powerful lessons about feelings and relationships.
It is reassuring to hear that Colton has already been through all of that before this season.
A virgin Bachelor is one thing, but one who doesn't know how dating works would be another.
Also, that virgin status sounds like it's a thing of the past, because Colton has strongly hinted that he popped his cork during filming.
