"Farrah Abraham is a good mother," said no one, ever, in the history of Farrah Abraham.
Well, we can’t confirm that no one has ever said that, but it’s got to be totally true, right?
After all, why one anyone have any reason at all to say such a thing about Farrah, former Teen Mom OG star and forever hot mess?
Ever since the first season of Teen Mom, when we first started to get a good look at her journey in motherhood, things have been concerning.
That’s putting it as mildly as possible.
Remember when her beautiful daughter Sophia was still a toddler and Abraham actually waxed her eyebrows?
Or when the tooth fairy gave her $500?
Or all the times she left her unsupervised to fall off beds or burn herself during baths? (Yes, there were multiple examples of this.)
On an emotional level, we’ve seen poor Sophia exposed to all sorts of fighting between Farrah and her own parents.
Even more disturbingly, Farrah’s made plenty of bizarre remarks about her infamous sex tape in relation to Sophia.
More recently, Farrah revealed that she and Sophia store nude photos of each other on their phones, and she her film her latest butt injections.
To say the absolute least, it’s all weird, it’s all bad, and it’s probably never going to get any better anytime soon.
That’s why, at this point, we just have to kind of roll with it when another inappropriate moment pops up.
If you haven’t been keeping up with the comings and goings of this little family lately, then just know that they’ve been doing a lot of traveling for the past several weeks.
They were in Fiji for a bit, then they moved onto France (you’ll probably remember that because of Farrah’s super embarrassing runway vagina-flashing).
Also while in France, Farrah made us all proud when she posted those weird ass shots on Sophia’s Instagram, along with the caption:
"I love my mamas booty."
Yeah. Just bizarre.
For about a week or so now, though, this dynamic duo has been in Dubai, and it really does look like they’re having a great time.
But this photo was posted on Sophia’s account, and you should be able to figure out why there’s a little bit of outrage …
In the picture, Sophia is looking pretty cute.
No arguments there. But note that she is holding a glass of … something. There’s a lot of debate on what that something could be.
"I’m sorry is that champagne?" one person asked on the Instagram page, always a source of lively discussion about their lives.
"I hope that’s apple juice smh," another person commented, unconvinced that a mother (even Farrah) would give a child booze.
Yet another hoped that litte Sophia, just nine years old, is drinking "just some kind of bubbly juice" and "not actually alcohol."
A few people actually came to Farrah’s defense, noting that even if Abraham would serve Sophia, any establishment wouldn’t.
One in particular told commenters, "you can’t actually be that stupid to think the restaurant would give her wine or champagne."
But the haters remained strong.
One replied with "if the little brat asked for it then yes, her idiot mother wouldn’t think twice" to supply her with some booze.
Another insisted that even if Sophia isn’t drinking alcohol in this picture, then "it gives her the idea that it’s cool to drink."
Luckily, the confusion was cleared up in another post by Sophia (or Farrah, who even knows who actually runs the account).
The account (we’ll just call it that, shrouded in mystery) explained that the drink was just "bubbly juice with gold flakes in it."
So rest easy, friends, Farrah’s not roaming the world, getting her kid drunk in all sorts of interesting and glamorous locales.
And let’s be real, if this were a photo of almost any other Teen Mom kid, no one would assume there was anything but juice in that glass.
Let’s just save our outrage for the next time Farrah truly deserves it, all right? Don’t worry – odds are we don’t have to wait too long.
