Khloe Kardashian has always wanted to be a mother.
If you’ve truly been keeping up with the Kardashians for all these years – and you should have been, it’s basically a civic duty at this point – then you know this.
But is 2017 the year it finally comes to fruition?
Whether or not you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians, you know that Khloe has battled this since she was with Lamar Odom.
Yes, long before the Bad Times led to the demise of her marriage, she tried to get pregnant, but it never happened for her.
Khloe’s fertility struggles made for a frequent, emotiona; storyline on Keeping Up as well as Khloe and Lamar, their old spin-off show.
It was clear that Khloe desperately wanted to have a child.
But that was then, and this is now.
And now Khloe is getting serious.
According a new report from celebrity gossip site Radar Online, "Khloe’s going baby crazy with all her nieces and nephews arriving."
It makes sense if you think about it, given her family situation:
Kim Kardashian has two adorable children, while their older sister Kourtney has three and, if you can believe the rumors, she’s working on more.
Even Rob just welcomed his first child with Blac Chyna.
Heck, teenage Kylie Jenner has been playing stepmom to Chyna’s son with Tyga, little King Cairo. Everybody’s getting in on it!
But, as the report goes on to say about Khloe, "She always wanted to have a family of her own by the time she hit 30."
Unfortunately, that was not to be. She’ll be 33 in June.
Of course she’s still got plenty of time to get that baby factory up and running, but it sounds like while she wants to get a jump on this in 2017.
That said, she’s still nervous about getting pregnant.
As the insider points out, she’s put a lot of effort into that "revenge body," so throwing things out of whack with a pregnancy has to be kind of scary:
"Since working out like a monster for years to get into the best shape of her life, she’s reluctant to undo all her hard work with a pregnancy."
She’s not all that reluctant though. Priorities, people.
The Khloe source adds that "as much as she loves her hot bod, she knows in her heart she’ll love a baby much more."
So touching. But get ready for this last quote from the insider: "It’s going to happen in the New Year … with or without a man!"
With or without a man, huh?
Sounds like Tristan Thompson (who, as we know, just welcomed a child with his previous girlfriend), better get on board or get out.
Do you really think that she’s so into this idea that she would pursue an alternate route – be it adoption, IVF, etc. – at the young age of 32?
Somehow, we have serious doubts.
If you look at Khloe’s active and robust dating history, it’s not like she’s running out of willing suitors at this juncture. Not anywhere close.
And in the end, we’re sure Khloe would be a fine mother. If nephews North and Saint have survived all this time, her kids would be fine.
