Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins have their own reality TV series on Freeform.

It goes by the name of Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? and the name totally sucks.

Thus far, drama has been scarce on the show, so it makes sense that JoJo Fletcher would be reeled in to help cause some.

If you watch The Bachelor online, it came down to Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher on Ben’s season of The Bachelor.

It was a finale that divided fans because both women were equally loved by the audience.

Ben had chemistry with both of the woman, so it was always going to be awkward in the aftermath of it.

Obviously, JoJo got her own season of The Bachelorette and is now in a relationship with Jordan Rodgers.

That said, there have been countless reports that JoJo’s relationship with Jordan is nothing more than a money making scam.

If that’s the case, it would be up there with most reality TV romances.

Now, Lauren has opened up about just how awkward the whole situation has been.

JoJo recently claimed she knew nothing about Ben and Lauren’s show, but that’s kind of rich considering the fact that she’s appeared on it.

“The most frustrating part is that it’s known as the ‘JoJo Situation,’” Bushnell admits.

“She was involved, but I think no matter who was at the end, or whatever, and no matter what happened, it would’ve been really hard for me and Ben to move past.”

However, Lauren was quick to point out that she does not blame JoJo for all of the drama.

Surprisingly, it was Ben she had the issue with.

“I did carry some resentment towards him, not with JoJo,” she explains.

“I had such a hard time trying to understand and put myself in his shoes and finally was like, ‘I will never understand. I will never be the Bachelor.’”

As much as the lunch date with Lauren, Ben, JoJo and Jordan was awkward, Lauren is now very happy the lunch date came to fruition.

"I’m truly glad that we all sat down and went to lunch together,” Bushnell says. “I really am — I wish we would’ve done it months earlier.”
