Just when The Real Housewives of New York City’s Ramona Singer is about to celebrate the release of her new book Life on the Ramona Coaster, she had an unwanted visitor from the past.
Kasey Dexter, 32, who had an affair with Ramona’s husband, has returned to The Big Apple.
Last year, her illicit relationship with Mario resulted in the end of Ramona and Mario’s 22-year marriage.
On July 24, Kasey was spotted at West Village restaurant Perry St. What does this mean for Ramona?
Hopefully, not much. The 58-year old reality star and jewelry designer seems to be moving on, even mingling with new (often younger) men.
But it has taken time for Ramona to get to her place of healing. Initially, she was devastated when she discovered Mario’s betrayal.
As she reveals in her memoir, Ramona contemplated suicide and abused pills to during the divorce.
“The stress of everything became unmanageable and it began to wreak havoc on my mind, body and spirit,” she writes. “There were times when I was so low that I almost felt like throwing myself in front of a subway train.”
Ultimately, after a tumultuous and emotional separation, Ramona filed for divorce last August.
Let’s hope the return of Kasey doesn’t derail Ramona’s progress!
