Teresa Giudice's prison tweet caused a ruckus over the weekend, posing a number of questions, most notably how the heck she managed to pull that off.
Well, now we know the answer to that ...
“Thank you everyone for all of the cards, letters, and kind words of support,” the tweet from her personal account told her followers on Sunday.
“I love, love, love you all. XO, T!”
While reports of Teresa Giudice getting special treatment in prison are a common occurrence, could she really be allowed to post on Twitter in there?
No. No she could not be.
The star's attorney, James Leonard Jr, came forward to clear up the confusion regarding Teresa Giudice's tweet from prison, revealing the true author:
Tre's eldest daughter.
“Teresa absolutely did not send the tweet herself,” Leonard said. “She doesn’t have access to Twitter. She asked her daughter Gia to please post it."
“She wanted to thank her fans for the hundreds, if not thousands, of pieces of mail that she’s received since she’s been incarcerated."
"In particular," her attorney continued, "she received an outpouring of kind words and support on her birthday. She is truly grateful.”
“While Teresa‘s finishing her sentence,” added Leonard, “she may continue to communicate with her fans" with the help of Gia Giudice.
Reports are circulating that the convicted white collar criminal may be out before the holidays this winter, on account of good behavior.
Worst case, barring unforeseen events such as Teresa recreating the below scenes in the pen, her 15-month term ends next April.
