Yesterday, a photo of Farrah Abraham holding a lion cub made the rounds online, and hundreds of animal lovers sounded off on the Backdoor Teen Mom's Twitter page in response.
Now, as expected, PETA is offering its two cents on the matter, and to the surprise of no one, the famous animal advocacy organization is none too pleased with Farrah's pic:
“PETA is certain that Farrah, like any mother, would be horrified to learn that lion cubs used for photo ops are torn away from their mothers shortly after birth so that they can be passed from one stranger to another.
"When they grow too big to be used as props, these animals are often abandoned at appalling roadside zoos, slaughtered for meat, or used as targets in canned hunts. We hope that Farrah will stick to animal-free tourism in the future.”
Pretty mild condemnation by PETA standards, but knowing Farrah, she'll go and make things much, much worse by responding with one of her signature, Palin-esque word salads.
Farrah turned 24 last week and her trip to Thailand was apparently a birthday present from boyfriend Simon Saran.
But like the lion cub, Saran is basically a prop that Farrah uses to convince her social media followers that all is well in Farrah Land. We wonder what she uses to sedate him.
