Menzel is probably currently best known for her song “Let It Go,” which she sang as her character Elsa in the Disney 2013 smash animated hit Frozen.

The song, which Menzel performed at the 2014 Oscars, won Best Original Song there. Then John Travolta butchered her name in truly epic fashion.

The acclaimed stage actress is also currently starring in Broadway's “If/Then,” a story of a woman and multiple paths she could have taken during her life.

“If/Then,” which will close in March, was nominated for the Tony Awards for Best Original Score and Best Actress in a Musical for Menzel’s performance.

Menzel also starred on Broadway in "Wicked,” in which she portrayed the Wicked Witch of the West made famous in “The Wizard of Oz,” and “Rent."

Those who have performed America's National Anthem at the Super Bowl recently include singer Renée Fleming, Alicia Keys, and Kelly Clarkson.

Meanwhile, Grammy-winning recording artist and certified heart throb Legend will perform "America the Beautiful" at some point during the NFL title game.

The halftime show will feature a performance by Katy Perry and Lenny Kravitz, "an incredible rock & roll icon, a guitar god," as Perry called her accompaniment.

Recent performers at Super Bowl halftime shows have included Bruno Mars, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beyonce, Destiny’s Child, Madonna, and Nicki Minaj.

Are you excited for this year's star-studded roster of singers at the biggest sporting and pop culture event of the year? Or were you hoping for others?
