Tori Spelling says she would definitely continue her reality show even without Dean McDermott participating, because there is much more sTori to tell.
"I would like to continue with the show. I have a lot more to say," Tori said on Access Hollywood, one week after seemingly confirming Dean's departure.
"It's my life. It's True Tori. I would prefer to do it with him," she said of her husband, "I certainly understand his reason for not wanting to do it."
"Maybe he'll change his mind, if not, I would like to go on with it."
Reports of McDermott quitting the show first surfaced last month, when he matter of factly said he was doing so. "I'm not going to continue," he said.
"I can't do this anymore," Dean lamented. "I can't keep opening a vein, opening my soul and sharing my feelings and thoughts and demons with the world."
If you watch True Tori online, you know that the two have been hanging by a thread, with Dean opening more than a few veins, for an entire year now.
Tori acknowledges that this has been rough on Dean, but hey, she's gotta do what she's gotta do and it's business as usual for Spelling going forward.
"The negative [is] everyone can twist your business, but they do that anyway. Me putting it out there, what can they say? I'm putting the truth out there."
Having given us so much insight into their turmoil, it's unclear how either of them can stand each other, yet they also seem like they want it to work out.
It all makes for a very unique, wholly uncomfortable train wreck.
"I don't think I'll ever be able to forget," Tori said of Dean cheating with Emily Goodhand and birthing this show, "but I hope to be in the place [when] I can forgive."
"Right now, present day, we're working really hard at our marriage and we're getting along really well," she adds, though her mom is a very different story.
"There's not currently much of a relationship… there's not much communication, either way… You always want that relationship, you keep wanting to attain it."
"I still want that mother-daughter relationship that I hope it can be."
