Jada Pinkett Smith has been going through a tough time recently.
No, this is not a story about an impending divorce from Will Smith. All really does seem fine on that marital front.
Instead, it’s a story about what Smith herself has dubbed an “emotional breakdown,” as she took to Facebook last week and wrote about a flood of tears that resulted from “the loss of loved ones” from her life.
“This morning I woke up to the screeching howl of my husky outside. His howls mirrored my broken, empty heart that plagued me this morning,” she wrote on October 2, later adding:
“This morning I cried and I cried and I mourned. But these tears were like rain on my soul because after the allowance of my tears came my gratitude for all that is and for all that was. My tears also gave me gratitude for the understanding that emotions are like storms…they pass and the sun does rise again:)”
So there is a hopeful message in all this at least.
