Got that, guys?!? You can go back to fantasizing about Keira Knightley’s breasts now.
Why? Because the August issue of O magazine reveals what many of us have feared all along: Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King are not lovers. (In the September issue: Oprah Winfrey and Nick Lachey are also not lovers; in October, Oprah Winfrey and Dan Brown …)
In a long article, Winfrey and King converse about their 30 years of friendship and “four-times-a-day phone calls.” King, who hosted The Gayle King Show that nobody watched in 1997, is an editor of O.
“I understand why people think we’re gay,” Oprah says in the story excerpted by the Associated Press. “There isn’t a definition in our culture for this kind of bond between women. So I get why people have to label it – how can you be this close without it being sexual?”
Gayle continues her best bud’s line of thinking:
“The truth is, if we were gay, we would tell you, because there’s nothing wrong with being gay.”
With dating a guy named Stedman, however? That’s another issue.
