We like Lana Del Rey. But we must be honest: this was a rather weak performance on her part during Saturday Night Live.

I love her! So she had a hosrse voice one night, listen to her songs on youtube, even when she was Lizzy Grant she might have been unpolished but she was still a rare, natural talent, I don't care what anyone says, Lana has an emotonsl, haunting connection to my soul. She is the BESTEST, and she does write, play and choreograph her music!!!

Lana is amazing. This was not bad. Does anyone remember when A. Simpson lypsynched? This girl has so much potential and reincarnated as Lana I think she will excel. I think if everyone knew Lana's back story and about her lizzy days they would not be hating so much.

Just listened to her David Letterman performance of this song and there is a world of difference in the performances. The Letterman one was amazing sounding. This one sounds as if there's something wrong with her voice, maybe she's hoarse or something, maybe just got over some kind of cold or something, maybe just having a bad day or something--listen to the Letterman performance and she will be redeemed.

shes does not hit most notes, but i enjoy her.
she is the impersonated fugacity, and very beautifully so.
her looks, her disembodied longing, that obviously dominate her songs. she does not seem to be intellectually deep, but she carries herself in such a thinskinned manner - you can almost see trhough her, right into her fragile inner-world. its kind of empty, thats the beauty of it.

This is a fine performance from a great artist. Haters gonna hate.

WTF!? Spinning around and making sure her hair looks alright every two seconds by flipping it this way or that while poking out her huge, manufactured duck lips!?

It's as though a gossip girl found its way into the music Industry!

Listening to her album I thought, ok at least she has a good voice, but ffs! If she showed up to an American idol audition singing like that the whole nation would be laughing at her!

This is actually really good.. it's the unpolished, non studio version. It's probably the way it should be, really.

Just for info, a few ppl seem to think that she is a really authentic artist, writes her own music etc - she isn't, she doesn't write. I do actually like her music but she has just been a very successful marketing project. Her dad made all this happen for her, got her image sorted, got her "cool" credible sounding music and hey presto! For this reason alone, I dnt think she'll have longevity but I enjoy the music in the meantime!

I think she is a refreshing new artist. Give her a break. She writes, sings and performs her music without all the electronics trying to make her sound good. I'd take her music over synthesized $h!t that others put out these days. I guess you have to know the right people or be in the "In" crowd to catch a break. Keep going Lana Del Ray. Hold your head high because you have many fans that loved your SNL performance!

She is a beautiful young lady with an amazing voice tho her live performance she seemed off on some notes. Dressed very elegantly, however not a great performance she lacks charisma and stage presence. I don't think she sang and performed to her highest potential. Not sure who allowed this to be aired on" Saturday Night live". Her manager should be more careful as to he future live performances. Not good for marketing an up and coming artist!
