Last month, when Olivia Wilde was crowned Earth's most beautiful woman by Maxim, we were a little bit skeptical of the men's magazine's decision-making.

After all, have you seen Megan Fox pictures? Marisa Miller photos? Bar Refaeli pics? Adriana Lima images? Is anyone doing research over there at Maxim?

Despite Olivia Wilde's undisputed good looks, this seemed a dubious title given the competition. Seemed. As in past tense. Maxim is changing our minds.

In a recent magazine interview, Megan Fox spoke glowingly - and new-pants-inducingly - about Olivia Wilde, the actress that topped this year's Maxim Hot 100 List.

Fox said Wilde is “so sexy, she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox.”

So, Olivia, how do you feel about that compliment? Would you ever make out with Fox?

“Of course, anything I can do to save the mountain ox, I’m happy to do," the House star said.

When Olivia Wilde was named the world's most beautiful woman by Maxim, we had our doubts.

After all, we've seen Marisa Miller pictures. We've spent hours drooling over Megan Fox photos. We've had to have Brooklyn Decker images surgically removed from our hands.

Wilde is very pretty and all, but the world is a big place. It seemed like an undeserved honor.

Our overall opinion hasn't changed, but this photo spread of the House star definitely helps her cause. No offense, Shawn Johnson. But you're no longer the cutest gymnast on TV...

Maxim has released its "2009 Hot 100," the magazine's definitive list of the world’s most beautiful women, and topping the list is ... actress Olivia Wilde.

Without giving away House spoilers, we'll just say the 25-year-old puts the McDoctors of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice to shame with her sexiness.

"When it comes to TV docs, there's only one who makes our body temperatures rise," the venerable men's publication extolls. We were drooling over the NYC native long before she was injected into Fox's hit medical drama."

Certainly hard to argue with that. Here's this year's winner ...

WILDE CARD: Olivia Wilde bested Megan Fox to win the coveted honor of Maxim's hottest female of 2009. No small feat, as this is Megan Fox's reason for being.

The movie Alpha Dog got a lot of attention because it starred Justin Timberlake.

But the film still being discussed at water coolers and across celebrity gossip blogs everywhere for one reason:

A certain former co-star The OC gets very naked.

And fortunately we're not talking about Mischa Barton.

But a nude Olivia Wilde - the gal who played tonsil hockey with Barton's thin character on the show for a few episodes - has an explicit sex scene in the movie. It's one that can scarcely be summed up by the photo here, but we had to try. 

It's worth renting Alpha Dog just for this bare body of work.

It's also almost worth not killing animals just to abide by nude Holly Madison advertisements. But we'll leave that up to you.

Katie Lee Joel is used to serving up entrees and segues as the former host of the reality show, Top Chef. But is the wife of Billy Joel ready to get served in this fashion face-off?

Pictured below, Katie Lee looks pretty - but she's really no match for the other two vixens wearing the same dress. One, of course, is Paris Hilton. And she deserves props for simply wearing clothes.

And, no, we're not talking about Rachel Bilson. Even though that cutie will always have a place in our heart.

But not like Olivia Wilde does. The actress who played Marissa's lesbian lover for not nearly enough episodes in Season Three proved herself as a genuine talent. And not a bad looker, either.
