Just a few short months ago, Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes were flat-out denying their affair (one that ultimately ended marriages to their longtime spouses).

Just a few short weeks ago, they were at least keeping things on the DL, trying to avoid being seen together (or at least not trying to blatantly encourage it).

Well, that was then, and this is Katsuya!

Their trip to the West Hollywood eatery, a.k.a. The Place to Drop $180 on Mediocre Food Just So Celebrity Gossip Sites Write About it, marked a turning point.

No longer keeping their distance while divorcing their spouses, Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes left the hot spot hand in hand, as you can see in the pic below.

Before she picked up a celebrity gossip magazine and read all about it, Eddie Cibrian's affair with LeAnn Rimes would have been news to Brandi Glanville.

Cibrian's wife says she found out he was cheating on her through the media, according to new documents filed in their divorce case, which is underway.

Glanville, a model whose legal name is Brandi Cibrian, "first learned of his infidelity in March 2009" and never names the other woman in her filing.

It just so happens that Us posted a video of Eddie making out with LeAnn Rimes at a restaurant that same month, so there is little doubt who it is.

Brandi claims Eddie, with whom she has two young sons, Mason and Jake, said he promised to stop cheating and that they even sought marital counseling.

But, by July, she found out the affair with LeAnn Rimes was still in full blossom ... again courtesy of celeb gossip media. Not being too discreet there, Ed.

Brandi also claims Eddie was unfaithful to her with at least one other woman during their marriage. That would be Scheana Marine Jancan, we believe.

Eddie and LeAnn are still together now, but keeping things on the DL.

The moral of the story: If you thought celebrity gossip never contributed to anything of value ... you're right. But he was bound to get caught sometime.

In the midst of her divorce from actor Eddie Cibrian, model Brandi Glanville is speaking out yet again against her rival, country star LeAnn Rimes.

In Las Vegas Saturday night, Glanville, 36, acknowledged that she has had a run-in with Cibrian's current girlfriend, and that it was "not pleasant.”

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian took their romance public in August and have been staying at a house near the home she used to share with Cibrian.

Still, the estranged couple "definitely save face for the kids – absolutely, they are the most important things in both our lives," Glanville said.

That's good to hear at least. In fact, Cibrian was watching the kids - Mason, 6, and Jake, 2 - during Glanville's weekend away in Sin City.

Rumors of Eddie Cibrian cheating on Brandi Glanville first surfaced this spring.

Glanville said she was in Las Vegas with girlfriends for a "divorce celebration-slash-get-away-from-your-life party. I'm just here to enjoy myself and relax."

A divorce party? Shanna Moakler would be so proud.

Brandi left Eddie over the affair with LeAnn in July.

As for Rimes, who filed for divorce from Dean Sheremet September 1, "she can have most of everything," said Glanville, "just not my children and my family."

A friend of Rimes says, "This is absurd. It just sounds like someone's desperately trying to extend their 15 minutes here. Everyone else has moved on."

LeAnn Rimes may be the new woman in her estranged husband Eddie Cibrian's life, but Brandi Glanville isn't interested in speaking to his mistress.

Not that we thought she would be, but when cornered by a celebrity news cameraman this weekend, she was forced to answer questions about it.

The mother of two told said emphatically, "I do not speak with LeAnn."

Outside the L.A.-area home she once shared with Cibrian, Brandi Glanville, a former model, spent the afternoon with sons Mason, 6, and Jake, 2.

Asked how the children are dealing with the break-up of her and Cibrian, Glanville replied, "They're great. They're super happy. We're just having a picnic ... it's all good. Got to move on, right? I just play with my kids."

Despite Glanville's accusations that Eddie Cibrian is "too busy juggling women to be a dad," the Northern Lights star showed up Rimes-less Saturday to Mason's first soccer game of the season. The estranged twosome did not interact.

Don't expect his girlfriend to show up at Mason's future games, however. Glanville said the singer has never met their kids, as far as she knows.

A source says Cibrian and Rimes are "not as serious as everyone thinks they are." Despite rumors that the pair is shacking up, he's living solo.

"He still hasn't moved everything out of his house," said the source. Nor has he introduced Rimes to his mother, who might be an issue later.

The source said: "His mom and Brandi are like best friends. They are still really close. They just don't talk about him." Wow. That's gotta hurt, E.

Glanville declined to comment on pending legal proceedings regarding a custody agreement or prenup, or how her new BFF Dean Sheremet is doing.

After LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian went public with their relationship in August, her ex, Dean Sheremet, quietly reached out to Cibrian's ex, Brandi Glanville.

Yeah. This looks to have all the makings of a serious Shania Twain / Mutt Lange / Frederic Thiebaud / Marie-Ann Thiebaud love quadrangle situation a-brewin'.

"They have been supporting each other," an insider says of the pair, who first met on the set of the Lifetime movie Northern Lights, which starred their spouses.

At the time, they didn't know an affair had begun. Now, "They've put the pieces together about the last few months, and they're developing a good friendship."

"They're the ones who understand what the other is feeling."

Translation: It's just a matter of time until Dean hits that.

As LeAnn and Eddie nauseate with PDAs, scorned spouses Dean Sheremet and Brandi Glanville are finding comfort in one another. You know what that leads to.

On Tuesday, Rimes announced that she and Sheremet are divorcing - just days after taking a PDA-packed vacation with Eddie Cibrian to Cabo San Lucas.

Asked how it feels to see his ex with Cibrian, Sheremet fought back tears, saying: "I don't really know what to say. It's bizarre. It's surreal. But I'm OK."

Luckily, Dean has found comfort in comisserating with Brandi Glanville. We can't wait for the paparazzi pictures of them holding hands. Give it a week.

This story basically, legally confirms what we've already known was the case for half the year: It's over for LeAnn Rimes and husband Dean Sheremet.

"After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Deane and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage," the country star says on her Web site.

"This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you for your continued love and support."

Rimes, who turned 27 Friday, married Sheremet in 2002 when she was 19 and he was 21. They separated amid allegations of her affair with actor Eddie Cibrian.

LeAnn and Eddie met while filming Lifetime movie Northern Lights last fall. Cibrian, meanwhile, filed for divorce from wife Brandi Glanville last week.

Cibrian's ex has called him "somebody I don't know" and claims she sensed the attraction between the two when they filmed Northern Lights last fall.

Dean Sheremet and LeAnn Rimes were all smiles just a few months ago.

LeAnn and Eddie Cibrian have since gone public with their relationship.

Rimes's longtime friend, Jeff Berger, says that Rimes and Sheremet, a songwriter and former dancer, are "doing their best to handle it as mature adults."

"Dean's her best friend and that's the crux of the issue; when you love and care about somebody who's your best friend – how not to cause pain," he says.

"Le and Dean are great people and, unfortunately, going through a tough situation. But they're doing what needs to be done as amicably as possible."

Dean Sheremet, a former professional dancer, is attending culinary school in NYC. He posted this on Twitter: "Back to school kids, first time in 10 years."

In light of Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes taking their relationship public last week, his estranged wife Brandi Glanville - who maintained her silence and stood by him for months - is now commenting to People left and right.

Brandi recalls when she and Cibrian went on double dates with LeAnn Rimes and her husband, Dean Sheremet, in Canada during the filming of Lifetime's Northern Lights, and even then she noticed a little flirting between the costars.

"We went to play pool, went for sushi, dancing," Brandi Glanville said, adding that while she's gotten used to women fawning over her handsome husband through the years, "this was different. It was a little more reciprocated."

At the same time, Glanville noticed how affectionate LeAnn was with Dean Sheremet: "They were very touchy-feely," she says. "They seemed happy. [But] I felt like it was almost like 'I love my husband. I'm not after your husband.'"

Eddie Cibrian married Brandi Glanville in 2002. They have two kids.

After reports of Eddie Cibrian's affair with Rimes surfaced in March, he and Glanville sought counseling to try to salvage their marriage, and she stood by him.

But it was not to be.

"We were in therapy, but he never stopped talking to [LeAnn Rimes] so how could that have worked?" asks Glanville, clearly far from thrilled with Rimes, and who says she recently left her husband and plans to file for divorce.

Glanville says she's been "trying to get a hold of" Sheremet.

"I feel bad for Dean," Brandi says. "It's a horrible situation for him. I don't think he's ready to have a conversation about not being with her."

Eddie and LeAnn went public last week with a golf outing.

After embarking on a very public golf outing followed by the Kings of Leon concert in L.A. this past weekend, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are no longer hiding their relationship, which until now consisted of rumors and secret rendezvous.

That's not sitting well with his wife, Brandi Glanville.

"He's just somebody I don't know," she lamented to People regarding their split. "You think you know one thing and you wake up and find out it's all been a lie."

Glanville, who recently left and separated from the CSI: Miami star, says she is unable to explain to the couple's sons Mason, 6, and Jake, 2, what is going on.

"They know that daddy is at work all the time," she says. "That's what I tell them. When he does come home it is surprising for them and they are very happy."

Glanville, on the other hand, is less happy to see her spouse. "I'm just like, 'You know what? You're not the man I married.'" She adds that she has spoken to Rimes directly more than once, and told the singer, 26, "'He's all yours.'"

Rimes and her husband, Dean Sheremet, also separated recently.

Brandi Glanville has no plans to reconcile with the actor, 36, and hopes to file divorce papers to make it official soon. After all this, there is no going back.

"There is one side of [Eddie] that I absolutely love and always will," the model and mother said, "but that side of him is not the side I'm divorcing."

After months of rumors and secret, low-key hookups, confirmed mistresses LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian went on a very public golf date Thursday.

The two recently split from their respective spouses, Dean Sheremet and Brandi Glanville, following a tumultuous year of denying infidelity rumors.

It's a weekly tradition for Rimes to hit the links, and around 1 p.m. she arrived at the Valencia Country Club with her surprise partner for the day.

"Eddie arrived at the private country club in his Porsche a few minutes before LeAnn," says a witness. "LeAnn was beaming when she saw Eddie."

"The two gave each other a quick hug. [Eddie Cibrian] was very sweet and went to buy water and energy drinks from the golf store."

Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes went on, like, a real date!

"LeAnn was sans makeup and looked happy and carefree. Between holes, LeAnn leaned back, put her feet up and sipped her drink while Eddie drove a golf cart," adds the source. "They weren't super affectionate, just flirty in a fun, loving way."

Despite their attempts to be discreet, the witness says, "They had lots of chemistry. They are a cute couple. They looked very happy and comfortable together."

After the golf date, the couple went their separate ways. But not the way LeAnn and Dean did a few weeks ago. Just separate ways as in that afternoon.

News of LeAnn Rimes' separation from Dean Sheremet saddened friends who had admired their marriage and what they did for each other over seven years.

Alas, her affair with Eddie Cibrian - whose wife, Brandi Glanville, left him as a result - appears to have taken an irreparable toll on Rimes and Sheremet.

In Nashville, those who knew the couple recall how they never seemed to be apart. Says one friend, "[LeAnn and Dean] were pretty much inseparable here."

The spouses were often spotted together at the gym, dining on the town with friends, dancing at nightclubs and even shopping for LeAnn Rimes' wardrobe.

Dean Sheremet, in fact, is credited with helping his wife – who was 19 when they married – make the transformation from a country girl into a sexy siren.

"When she met Dean, the whole image of who LeAnn Rimes was completely morphed into 'fabulousity,'" says a friend in the music industry.

Sheremet, 28, who choreographed the singer's Chicago-inspired video for "Nothin' Better to Do" in 2007, "saw the potential that was not being tapped."

But sources say it may have been inevitable that they grew apart as they got older. "I don't think it's unusual considering how young they were [when they wed], and the business they're in," says a member of their social circle.

As LeAnn Rimes expanded her career into acting, she spent more time in Los Angeles, while Dean Sheremet, a songwriter, stayed home in Nashville.

Rimes and Sheremet's strong friendship, however, is making it difficult for them to officially split, even as she is spending time with Eddie Cibrian.

It's unclear when – or if – they might seek a divorce "There's still a lot of love and respect between the two of them," says a source close to Sheremet.
