Tim McGraw has been hiding a secret son ... according to a new tabloid report this week, which the married country star quickly denied through his rep.
According to the National Enquirer, McGraw hid his "secret son" from wife Faith Hill and his fans for years ... though the boy isn't biologically his.
Tyler Zarbo, a 23-year-old student, says that Tim was once engaged to his mother, Kristine Donahue, and the Grammy winner helped raise him.
The celeb gossip rag claims that while McGraw and Donahue split up, McGraw maintained a relationship with Zarbo, who now lives in Orlando, Fla.
Zarbo told the tabloid that McGraw was "like a father to him" and that he "always saw me as the son he never had, and we've stayed in contact."
"I wish he could have remained as my substitute dad, but it just wasn't meant to be."
Tim's rep, Mary Hilliard Harrington, says this story couldn't be farther from the truth.
"The National Enquirer story is full of inaccuracies and misrepresentations about Tim and Faith. We aren't going to comment on false statements," she said.
The rep calls the story "sensationalized for the purpose of selling magazines."
The exact nature of McGraw's relationship with Tyler, if any, was not elaborated upon by his rep. He and Faith Hill have three daughters together.
