The Bling Ring Trailer: Inside the Lives of the Clowns Who Robbed Lindsay Lohan!

by at . Comments

Sofia Coppola has apparently made a movie about The Bling Ring, a roving gang of hooligans who started robbing celebrities a couple of years ago.

Somehow, she convinced Emma Watson to star in this, too, presumably as The Bling Ring leader Alexis Neiers. Take a look at the first trailer below:

This rag-tag crew of tools pillaged Orlando Bloom, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, Rachel Bilson and other celebrities from 2008-2010.

The troubled teens were somehow able to steal millions in valuables before getting caught. Nick Prugo was the first to get busted after robbing Lohan.

Would you see a movie about this?

Can't wait for this movie to come out. Finally looks like there will be a Sofia Coppola movie that I'm into - while I respect her filmmaking ability, I think she's take on kind of dry, boring scripts, and I'm interested to see how she does with what (to me) is a much more exciting type of film. Also, loved that they used "Crown On The Ground" by Sleigh Bells in the trailer, that's exactly the type of song that wouldn't be in one of the slower dramas that Coppola has done in the past, and I think will fit the mood of this film. Also, can't wait to see Emma Watson in this type of role, too I think she's up to it, and it'd be nice to see her push her boundaries too.
