Kathie Lee Gifford vs. Hoda Kotb: Tension on Today?
by Hilton Hater at .We're sure it's nothing a bottle of white wine can't fix, but there's reportedly tension between Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb over the location of their Today Show segment.
Insiders tell TMZ that Gifford wants to move the (often inebriated) fourth hour to Hollywood, while her partner is a New York City gal.
The simmering feud is gaining momentum, too, starting with when Hoda felt "snubbed" because Gifford did not promote her new book on air.
Because both are described as "really strong" by a source close to the series, it's unclear just how this final decision will be made.
For now, the show will film in Los Angeles every few weeks as a compromise.
Today, of course, is being slammed in the ratings by Good Morning America, which will only receive a bump next week when Robin Roberts returns.
Many believe Matt Lauer could be fired if things don't soon pick up.

The fued between Kathy Lee and Hoda Kotb seems like more than a relocation problem with the show.Kathy Lee seems to really be jealous of Hoda, she's always loud and obnoisous, tries to talk over Hoda. Because she's been married so long does'nt mean she can tell Hoda who to date or that she needs to clean out her purse, or that she needs a dog. Personally I think Hoda is more ladylike, more intelligent and she's a bonified TV news journalist and I personally believe believe that Kathy Lee is feeling the growing pains of getting old. And I thank you for allowing my opinion and hope to get some responses.
I don't really care for the Williw Geist and I can't stand that Kathy Lee Gifford. She is a very loud mouth. She is not a women with a mouth like that. She is on TV and she should be a professional person. thank you
What a selfish argument to even start. If KLG's musical had succeeded or her children weren't in CA, moving the show would not be an issue. Instead of the show moving, I would love to see more guest co-hosts with Hoda while KLG takes a much needed break in LA.

They need to cancel that show and put Hoda back on the Original TODAY, Get rid of the mess they hired that are so fake and make Hoda the lead. When Matt's contract is up dump him too.
