Matt Lauer Must Be Fired, Former NBC Executive Insists

Fire Matt Lauer.
“This problem is not going to go away until Matt Lauer does,” the anonymous insider tells The New York Daily News. “He’s great, but fairly or unfairly, his brand is damaged.”
This isn't the first time such an idea has been floated, with many viewers clamoring for Lestor Holt to replace the veteran anchor.
Alexandra Wallace, meanwhile, has come on board as the new producer at Today, taking over for Jim Bell, who was behind the Ann Curry firing.
But is Lauer really the problem? Do you think he should be fired?

Haven't watched since they fired Ann. Not that I thought she was a good anchor, I wanted her to stay at the news desk. I started watching CBS in AM with Charlie, Nora, & Gail. They're terrific & refreshing. Matt Lauder 's days are numbered.
"Nose" Lauer has to go. Check the HollywoodGossip bio on Lauer. "The ladies love him", ' He is such a beast". Yeah right. What have you been drinking ? Lauer is the most overrated morning host of all time. What a bottom feeder. Wonder why Today is losing viewers...look no further than Matt Lauer and Jim "Can you spare a Cheesburger" Bell. Those two ass clowns have ruined the Today Show.
Get rid of Lauer!
Haven't watched Today since Lauer/Bell got rid of Ann. Will not return until the primadonna's are gone and Ann is back.
I believe that Matt Lauer's time is truly up!!!!! The Today Show needs to PINK SLIP Matt's insufferable, pompous and arrogant ass A.S.A.P. And, Matt needs to pay more attention to his failing marriage. Bottom Line: Get rid of Lauer and re-hire BOTH Ann Curry and Meredith Vieira...NOW!!!!!
