Jon Gosselin Tries, Fails to Stop Kate Plus 8 Australian Adventure
Jon Gosselin really doesn't want his kids on TV anymore.
Some have questioned his motives, but he seems intent on living a normal life these days and for his eight offspring to experience the same thing.
That said, he went to court to stop Kate Gosselin from dragging them to Australia, but was denied by a judge because the excursion is work related.
Once again, Jon and Kate don't see eye to eye.
The same judge allowed Kate Gosselin to film her spin-off reality TV show, Kate Plus 8, on TLC in the first place, despite vehement objections by Jon.
“This was yet another slap in the face for Jon because he did not want the kids to go to Australia," a source close to Jon Gosselin told Radar Online.
“But the judge ruled that because it was for work it was okay. Jon had plans with the kids. Now he won't see them until they return in mid-January."
"He was scheduled to have them this weekend, but there was nothing he could do as the decision was taken out of his hands by the judge."
“Kate told Jon about the trip, and when he did not agree it was decided that the judge should intervene and the ruling went in her favor."
“He is trying to put a brave face on and has explained the situation to his own family and friends, but this is a big disappointment for him."
“But if nothing else, they all respect him for trying to stand up to Kate and for fighting for what he thinks is right for his kids as well.”
Fresh off goin' camping with Sarah Palin in Alaska, Kate flew to Australia with her eight kids, plus body guard Steve Nield, on Tuesday.
The Gosselin crew will also visit New Zealand, and during the excursion they will shoot tons of footage for future episodes of Kate Plus 8.
As for Jon's plans tonight?
“It is most likely that he will be staying in Pennsylvania to be with his girlfriend Ellen Ross plus family and friends as they ring in 2011."
Sounds normal at least.

They can go to any country they like Sarah and saying you hope they get eaten by a crocodile just shows what a bitch you are. You can hate Kate if you wish but her kids do not deserve your hateful attitude.

I think Kate through out was very much a drama queen with everything. Her marriage didn't seem a marriage at all. It was two people after having babies.....what did they have in common? Jon worked hard even though he seemed abit harsh with the kids. I felt he needed to understand and be abit patient a little more. They could of made it work and sorted it out but sorry kate you come across as very difficult!!!!

kate a sido muy valiente en no dejarse caer por la separacion se su ex esposo por el bien de los niños con tantos hijos ni tiempo de deprimirse es lo bueno a salido adelante el es mal ejemplo para sus hijos estar cambie y cambie de pareja cada rato a donde quiere parar jon quedarse solo no tener estabilidad en su vida emocional tambien el deberia pensar q va hacer de su vida y es una lastima teniendo 8 hijos y dejarlos por una mujer como que es feo pero aya el y su "vida" les deseo lomejor tanto a kate como ajon

It is all just plain sad. Two young people fell in love, although fraught with infertility issues they were blessed with beautiful twins. They appeared to handle that but just didn't feel their family was complete so they went to a fertility specialist and voila, 7 tiny beating hearts (counting the one that was lost). The young family seemed to conquer despite the odds and tribulations. Now years later their love, their lives, and their futures are reduced to rubble. This is so sad. Life is hard, marriage and childrearing can be a journey, filled, like a twisted country road with potholes. I loved that family with their, what appeared to be older fashioned principles, their faith, their love for one another. My family and I, NEVER missed an episode and generally bought the silly magazines, that is until the fairy tale bubble burst. I think the judge must be receiving bribes from Kate and her tv executives. It is funny how the judge always runs in favor of Kate, so the kids can work and make her money.
