Bristol Palin to Levi Johnston: Get a Job!
Levi Johnston says he's like every other unwed, teenage baby daddy trying to cash in on his 15 accidental minutes of fame by starting an acting career:
Broke as a joke.
Yesterday, the Playgirl cover boy rejected assertions by baby mama Bristol Palin that he earned $105,000 in 2009 and should crank up the child support.
Bristol wants Levi to fork over $1,750 a month to care for their 1-year-old son, Tripp, but in a new court filing, Johnston says his income is too erratic.
Which is a nice way of saying negligible.
His only guaranteed income so far in '10, according to Team Levi, is $25,000 from "some contingencies based on my Playgirl shoot." Hot contingencies!
But Bristol Palin ain't buying it. Her attorney, Thomas Van Flein, said in a statement today: "Bristol is hopeful that Levi will obtain work in 2010." SNAP.
Levi Johnston knocked up Bristol Palin in 2008. Both are now 19.
She is "encouraged that he acknowledged in court his obligation to pay child support and he acknowledged paying $4,400 in the last 14 months," the lawyer said.
THG NOTE: That's $314.28 a month. Our interns could afford that! Way to go, Levi. You want some more credit for doing a half-ass job at your legal obligation?
Levi's lawyer Rex Butler retorted and stated that "we're refuting the manner in which they want child support figured. But at the same time we're willing to pay."
"They said they got $4,400 from him over a 14-month period but it was in the last three months. He'd have more to send if she kept her appointments with him."
THG NOTE #2: We're not entirely surprised, it's a little perplexing that Levi is that broke. He didn't get paid for any of his 867 interviews about Sarah Palin?
At least their lawyers agree on one thing. According to her attorney:
"Bristol expects to mediate a new child visitation schedule with Levi that balances Tripp's need to be with his father with Levi's need to travel and seek work."
Get on it, Levi. Seek work. Write the tell-all Palin book already!

I wish everyone would stop thinking in Republic/Democrat ! Bristol is one of billions who got pregnant out of wedlock and is taking advantage of her position. Is she supposed to turn it down? Because if she does, then she has to rely on Levi, who is one of billions of deadbeat dads. hmmmm

Levi needs to do his part. He's making cash, but isn't paying the child support! Bristol has been taking care of the child as the main caregiver, plus being a full-time college student! She's doing her best, Levi isn't. To the people that say: "Bristol's playing victim.", she is the victim! She's taking care of Tripp, being a mom, learning at college, and obviously she has to stay at her parents' house. Levi isn't doing his part as a dad!

OK here are the facts Bristol & Levi had sex made a kid and are now having to do the best they can. Levi isn't being given any custody rights to his child which is what happens to most guys after a divorce but he has tried to see his child but the Palin camp has many secret service people as well has banned Levi from the home so he has to wait on her to bring the child. Also Levi's family hasn't even seen the child as of yet so that is pretty F^%$$% Up on the Palin's part. Also Levi never wanted to be in the spot light from the beginning Sarah forced him to show his face during the campaign to fake that they were together as a family and she sure loved him then but everyone forgets that also they were trying to force Levi to marry Bristol which is messed up cause what if it wouldn't have worked out who would be to blame hmmmmmmmmmmmmm Levi of course so all the dumb ass Bristol lovers need to get there facts straight. The idiots who write this site must be...idiots. Have they ever actually ASKED a real custodial parent how much they get each month in child support? I got about $160. That's it. That's not to say that I think Levi should get away with paying no child support, as he most certainly should and right away. However, why the heck should he have to pay a king's ransom? He's NOT a movie star...Bristol needs to get REAL...oh, and how about getting a job herself?

Clearly some of these comments are being made by children, because I can't imagine that any sane adult would make them. The day to day responsibility of a child will more than likely always fall with the mother. Th father can up and leave and do what he wants to do, but the mother is the one that is expected to be there. It is a good thing that this young lady has the support of her parents, many don't, so to try and berate her because she is in school and trying to get an education so that she can take care of her child is ignorant, what do you prefer, her parents help her out or she go on welfare? He needs to step up and be a man, if you want to act like a man you need to be prepared for the consequences. To try and use his relationship with this young girl to try and build fame is disgusting, and in a few years his child will know it when he is able to go online.He needs to get a job and get a life and take care of his kid,and some of you people really need to get some help. Goodgawd, the guy proves he enjoys being a 'whoreman' when he ought to be more responsible for the baby. He's acting more like he Gods gift to woman when he ought to be furthering his education, he's making enough money to pay his own way. Palins ought to sue his ass off.
