Sarah and Bristol Palin Choose Life, Pimping Babies
Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and teenage daughter Bristol Palin both chose to have babies under tough circumstances. The decisions they made were honorable.
Posing with their sons on the cover of In Touch? Not so much!
It's hard to imagine a major political figure deciding it's smart to appear on the cover of a celebrity gossip magazine - a C-grade one at that - for credibility's sake.
This is not a sexist remark. We'd scratch our heads if Barack Obama were on the cover too ... next to Angie's "dangerous pregnancy" and Rachel Zoe's "scary diet" ...
Bristol and Sarah Palin chose life ... and big paychecks!
Bristol Palin didn’t know what she was in for when Levi Johnston hit it without protection and knocked her up in 2008. But she gave birth to Tripp in December 2008.
Just a year earlier, at the age of 44, Sarah Palin carried her son Trig to term, even after she was told during a sonogram that he would be born with Down syndrome.
Now, the mother and daughter are sharing a unique experience - raising their baby boys together under the same roof and telling this fine publication all about it.
“The last few years have been unreal and surreal,” Sarah tells In Touch.
From our vantage point, we couldn't agree more.
Tripp sure is a cutie! And looks like Levi!

I have no problem with them 'choosing' life but wish they (and others like them) would stop trying to make that decision for others.

carrieoki, you have not read my comment properly. I'm stating that while Sarah did, indeed, give birth to Trig in April 2008, it was just three weeks later that her own daughter Bristol announced her pregnancy with Tripp. In reality, Sarah Palin had announced the pregnancy in March, stating, "I am not due until May 2008." Therefore, Trig was premature.
However, in May 2008, Sarah had already given birth to Trig prematurely. Bristol came to her parents and discovered her own pregnancy when Trig was only three weeks old. So add another eight months, and then Bristol and Sarah gave birth to sons in the same year! "My uncle is only eight months older than me!"
I'm not declaring any dispute over the birth mothers, just laughing at both. Yeah, both.

The babies are absolutely gorgeous...I would be proud to show them off too being that I am a mother of 3, I cant think of a time I havent pulled out photos of my kids (bath pics or not) to show them off to someone...its natural, so quit whinning about their provacy, theyre infants. And yes they got paid to take the photos and guess what? The kids are probably reaping the rewards of it aswell, wouldnt it be wonderful if we average mothers could get $$$ for photos of us with our kids so we could pay for their college without a second thought or being in debt, it seems to me like there are quite a lot of jealous people out there who are just mad because they arent as well off. get over yourselves, because there are plently of baby modeling agencies out there where parents get paid for photos of their children, are you going to them and complaining about THOSE children's privacy? No you are here saying something because of who the mother is and because you dont like her...

Helen - you're right. This article is about CHOOSING life. Isn't it fantastic that each of them is happy with her CHOICE?

"millions of girls get pregnant and either choose to kill the fetus or "keep" it while they continue bouncing.."
Millions of girls don't have an opportunistic mother on the state payroll with a built in nanny to help them. They have to try to finish school, work, and take care of an infant. Truth be told, I believe Bristol broke up with Levi because if she gets married, she will be off the Palin's health insurance and have to be a grown up.
As far as Sarah, if she is half the mother she says she is, why are the three oldest kids in so much trouble? Track was shipped off to the Army in lieu of jail time for drugs; Bristol has a one year old child; and now Willow is running with a bad crowd and breaking into homes for beer parties at 15. This has nothing to do with whether or not Palin would be a competent VP, and everything to do with her preaching her moral story to all of us. Sorry, Sarah, my kids were never in any trouble, both attended great colleges, got married to great people,

Palin is perfect for C-grade gossip tabloids. Actually, that's all she's suited to.

Speaking of abstinence, when is Mrs. Sarah Abstinence-Only Palin going to talk out HER OWN shotgun wedding? Multiple unwed pregnancies in the Abstinence family...hmm...
From an article by THE HILL on the book, Trailblazer:
“Lorenzo Benet, an assistant editor at People magazine, tries to capitalize on Palin’s star power in his latest book, Trailblazer: An Intimate Biography of Sarah Palin.
But even with all of his focus on Palin’s values, Benet practically glosses over what was apparently a shotgun wedding. The Palins eloped on Aug. 29, 1988, to the surprise of their parents and friends. Their firstborn, Track, was delivered almost exactly eight months later, on April 20, 1989.
When contacted by The Hill, Bill McAllister, a spokesman for Palin, said only: “I think it’s part of the public record that the governor and her husband eloped.” He declined to comment on the timing of Track’s birth.”

Helen,
I am concerned about exploitation of two young children which is a violation of ethical principles. Reportedly $100,000 or more was paid to the Palins for their interview with InTouch. These ladies are depriving two young children of their right to PRIVACY for personal gain. Children are human beings whose right to privacy should be respected. The photos of Tripp taking a bath could possibly embarrass him in later years. He is only an infant now who can not and has not given CONSENT for the photos. It is likely that his father, Levi Johnston, has not given CONSENT either. I perceive ethical violations and probably illegalities.
Please understand that just because we "see" things done it does not mean they are morally correct. It is becoming common for parents to profit from children by using them in reality shows and/or parading them excessively in political events for political gain. However common, these practices violate the right to privacy of the child and are unethical

Actually, and also with you, "Correction." Actually, we were told Palin gave birth to Trig in April, 2008, but the fact is, Trig was handed off to Sarah Palin in April, 2008. To find out Trig's real birth date, we would need to see his birth certificate. Too bad it's not available by Alaska law. Sarah Palin has never taken legal action against numerous Alaskan blogs which state the fact that she did not physically give birth to Trig, and you know she whines and attacks much smaller issues! You can't sue the Truth.
