Levi Johnston is running his mouth again. This time, the occasion is his book tour (yes, we're serious) for Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs.

While there are no bombshells quite up there with a Sarah Palin-Glen Rice tryst, Levi does reveal more than Alaska's most famous family would ever want him to.

Some excerpts from a recent interview he gave about the book:

On the prospect of a Palin presidency: "'President Palin' is a phrase that scares me. She is apparently only 5 percent behind Obama right now and that's frightening me. I'm figuring I might have to move to Canada if she wins."

On his baby mama's book: "I didn't read Bristol's book (Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far). I heard a lot of things out of it, as far as "I'm a gnat" and how I stole her virginity. Her book is just flat out lying, it's disgusting."

Levi Johnston is making the media rounds - thank goodness - to promote his new book. What more could he possibly have to say? This, for starters:

Sarah Palin had a "cougar" crush on him, he alleges.

"Even growing up my friends would always say that [Palin would flirt with him] ... it seems kind of weird," he said in an interview with E! News.

"Then one of my publishers said she had a cougar crush on me! Now looking back and remembering what everyone said, I'd say, 'Yeah, I think she did,'" he added. "She never touched me or anything like that! But it weirds me out thinking about it."

He's not the only one, we have a feeling.

The "star" also said that his son with Bristol Palin was no accident and that the DWTS alum was jealous of Sarah, wanting a baby after her mom had Trig.

In his new book, Levi Johnston claims Bristol Palin not only wanted to get pregnant, she did so to spite her famous mom, then-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs is due out next week, and within its pages, Johnston airs more dirty Palin laundry than ever.

Considering it's what Levi does for a living, that's saying something!

Levi Johnston says Bristol Palin was angry when she discovered Sarah was expecting her fifth child (son Trig) and felt she should be the one preggo instead.

According to Johnston, Bristol told him in March 2008, "let's get pregnant."

Whether that HOT directive actually took place or not, he obliged all right.

Johnston also refutes Bristol's earlier claim that she lost her virginity drunk on a camping trip, saying they were sexually active earlier in their relationship.

He also writes that he was "too dumb" to use protection. That we believe.

Levi Johnston has ended his campaign for Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.

At least he learned something from Bristol Palin. As much as pulling out sucks at the time, if you don't think ahead, you risk life-altering consequences.

Such is the case with the mayoral bid. Johnston didn't want to demean himself or the office running for a job he lacked the interest (and skills) to do.

"He isn't running," his manager Tank Jones told Radar Online. "Levi doesn't want the office of the Mayor to be a joke so he's not going to do it now."

"He's not going to run right now because there are a lot of issues he would need to study up on, and he thinks that this isn't the right time for him."

The 21-year-old former boyfriend of Bristol Palin and father of their son Tripp is "focusing on his book that is coming out September 20," Jones said.

Sad, but sometimes you have to look at the big picture. Besides, for your up-to-date Palin-mocking needs, you still have Mercede Johnston in Playboy.

Levi Johnston's sister, Mercede, continues to absolutely unload on the Palin family in quotes excerpted from her interview with Playboy. She just makes headline writing ridiculously easy ... not unlike getting in Bristol's pants, apparently.

The 19-year-old Mercede Johnston, known as “Sadie” to friends, sat down with Playboy to dish about the famous family that nearly became her brother’s in-laws.

Some new excerpts from the interview appear below:

On Bristol Palin: “Honestly, she is the meanest person. I didn’t know someone could be so vindictive and pure evil ... [She’s] a sociopath. She doesn’t think anything she could do or does is wrong.”

On Levi and Bristol’s re-engagement in 2010: “I don’t think Bristol wanted to be with him whatsoever, not at all. It was all about her using her body to get Levi to retract his statements, and it worked."

"They only wanted them back together so they could control Levi, have him say he lied so no one would believe what he said again ... Everyone who knows Levi knows everything he said was true and then some.”

On Levi’s relationship with Bristol: “Levi was whipped like Todd, because Bristol is very manipulative. She’d use sex to get her way on many things.”

Mercede Johnston, younger sister of Levi Johnston, is following in her brother's nude footsteps and taking it all off for the cameras come September!

The 18-year-old Mercede will be featured in a four-page nude pictorial in Playboy's September issue, a magazine spokesperson confirmed today.

Rumors of Mercede baring all in Playboy first surfaced in February.

She has often been an outspoken critic of Bristol Palin, whose virginity Levi stole way back when, then went on to impregnate in early 2008.

Like her sibling, Mercede Johnston tells - and bares - it all.

In Palin's new memoir, Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, Bristol detailed giving it up to Levi while drunk off wine coolers on a camping trip.

Suffice it to say, Mercede takes issue with Bristol's account.

"Does anybody really believe a good Christian girl, as Bristol claims to be, would really lose her virginity in a tent?" Mercede seethed on her blog.

"I don't think so. Usually girls want their first time to be meaningful and special," she said, adding that Palin should've called it Not Afraid of Lies.

Bristol Palin says that despite the terrible decision she made when she gave it up to Levi Johnston while drunk in a tent, it was consensual all the way.

The topic came up on Good Morning America, with Bristol standing by the statement she makes in her book ... that Levi "stole" her virginity.

The eldest daughter of Sarah Palin gave it up when she was just 15. She says she used the word "stolen" because "that's what it felt like."

The book, entitled Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, describes the big night. Bristol, after getting plowed on wine coolers, got ... y'know.

"I'm not accusing Levi of date rape, or rape at all," Bristol clarified. "But I am just looking back on this with the adult eyes I have now."

Now, she says, she's thinking "that was a foolish decision."

Ditto the rest of the times they slept together. While they said they wouldn't do it again until they got married, the boning continued and son Tripp was spawned, after which Bristol hilariously became an abstinence advocate.

Bristol Palin reveals in her new memoir, Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far (yes, Bristol Palin has a memoir), that Levi Johnston is a "gnat."

One who tapped that piece while she was drunk.

The 20-year-old single mom says, in an excerpt from the book, that "the gnat named Levi Johnston is constantly spreading false accusations against our family."

He's also a self-involved slacker, apparently.

Bristol Palin says that Levi, the father of her two-year-old son Tripp, "cheated on me about as frequently as he sharpened his hockey skates."

We assume that's a lot.

Speaking of Tripp, he was conceived on a camping trip upon which Bristol got drunk for the first time - on wine coolers. When she woke up the next morning in her tent, alone, Bristol had no recollection of what happened.

Somewhere, Sarah Palin is gritting her teeth.

You gotta love the title and COVER of Levi Johnston's forthcoming, thought-provoking memoir, Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs.

If nothing else. the guy credit for his sense of humor.

It's hard not to look at the pic below and not laugh. Hopefully whoever Levi got to ghost-write this (he's not the sharpest tool in the shed) does it justice:

Just kidding. We made that up. But you have to admit, as far as memoirs from guys most famous for mistreating the women who made them famous go, Levi's already beats the heck out of Jesse James' American Outlaw.

Why even try to appear sympathetic or serious. At least Levi Johnston embraces what he is - and his adventures with the Palins do need to be cataloged.

Levi Johnston is a real American hero.

First he got nude and put a baby in Bristol Palin. Then he posed nude in Playgirl. Now he's coming out with a tell-all book to reveal the naked truth about Sarah Palin.

Even better, he's doin' it all for the U.S. of A.
