Kate Gosselin Today Show Nonsense Part II: Denies Any Affair with Steve Neild, Regrets About Show
by Free Britney at .Continuing her revealing interview on NBC's Today Show, this morning, Kate Gosselin says she has never slept with her bodyguard or had regrets about putting her eight children through the reality show that's unraveling before their eyes.
In a the first part of Kate's Today show interview, she talked briefly about how hurt she was by Jon Gosselin and his recent fling with Hailey Glassman.
In the second segment, she denied that her hit show, Jon and Kate Plus 8, contributed to the disintegration of her marriage, even though it totally did.
"It would've happened any way - cameras on, cameras off," she told Meredith Vieira, adding that she has no second thoughts about living her life on camera.
"It's given our kids many opportunities they never would have had," she said. "I don't live my life in regret. I tend to look forward, not backward. And I still feel like this is a good thing. It's healthy and the kids would agree."
We should poll them and find out.
"This is our life. It's the most real reality show you'll see,” she said.
"It is essentially a home video for them. It is their favorite show. They see Mommy and Daddy. I want them to see that each one of them was wanted, loved and cared for."
Not that anyone suggested that their kids weren't loved or cared for, but that's neither here nor there. Anything for a good sound bite, right Kate?
Kate Gosselin also said she is deeply hurt that her brother, Kevin Kreider, began dishing to celebrity gossip tabloids about her marriage and parenting skills and stating that her children are "unhappy" filming the reality show.
"That's probably one of the most hurtful things in all of this, when family turns on you and makes up lies and makes allegations and makes tens of thousands of dollars for doing it," she told Vieira. "This has become a business for them."
She also set the record straight on rumors that she bought a condo in Maryland. Reports surfaced after she visited bodyguard Steve Neild and his wife in Maryland. She did, but there is no condo. Kate also denied an affair with Steve Neild.
"There is no condo. There is no apartment. No one ever looked for one. Nobody ever bought one," she said. "I live at home with my kids. That's where I belong."
Asked by Vieira where she goes when Jon Gosselin stays with the kids at home in Wernersville, Pa., Kate replied, "To be honest, I'm in hiding from the paparazzi."

Kate dumped Jon. He didn't start to see other women until she told him that the marriage was over. Kate said she was surprised at how quickly she decided that the marriage was finished. And she's abusive. And she was the one who insisted on having the second, multi-implant fertility procedure - Jon was happy with two children. So it has been her decisions that have altered the lives of her husband and children. And now it appears that she has broken up another marriage - Steve Neild's. It remains to be seen if he will be divorced by his wife of if his affair with Kath fizzles out, whether it's a physical affair or an emotional one. I pity his wife and children as much as I pity Kate's kids and Jon. The woman has even alienated her entire immediate family. She has no remorse and no self-reflection - no wonder she doesn't want to look at the past.

while kate was out making the $$$$ jon was at home with the kids giving her that option. how can we assume he has cheated on her any more than she cheated on him while traveling with her 'male' security person? and as for the $$$$ and her NEED to continue the traveling to support her (isn't it their?) family, they should have plenty of $$$$ now having gotten at least $50K per episode and there having been 30-40 episodes per season (going on the 6th season). Soooo, why not quit for the SAKE of the kids?
at the end of the day he cheated and his kids will learn about that as they get older...no kid ever wants to hear that one of their parents did something that horrible...
Saying that Kate 'was hard on Jon' is like saying OJ was 'hard on Nicole' or 'Betty was hard on Dan [Broderick]'. It's crap. She verbally and pysically abused her husband, and I'm glad she left him since he was willing to just take it. I shudder to think what seeing that will do to those kids. It's just as bad as having a dad who's abusive!
