Donald Trump calls himself a "ratings machine" in this phone interview with CNN’s Don Lemon.

He says he gets "big crowds." He says Megyn Kelly is a "lightweight" and he says he doesn’t have "a lot of respect" for the Fox News anchor.

But those quotes have not become the focus of most critics following Trump’s performance in the GOP debate on Thursday night – in which he slammed Rosie O’Donnell in response to a question Kelly posed about his history of sexism – and following this Q&A with Lemon.

"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes," Trump told Lemon on Friday evening, actually then adding:

"Blood coming out of her wherever."

Yes, Donald Trump made a comment about Megyn Kelly’s menstrual cycle as part of his diatribe against her. This is the leading Republican candidate for President at the moment.

Trump is already on record as saying Kelly sucks, but might he finally lose some voters after going there with his criticism of a woman?
