Bristol Palin is out of there, folks.
She has now made this official.
The mother of three has confirmed that she won’t return for a second season as a cast member on this long-running MTV hit, throwing producers on the way out a bit by saying she was portrayed in a negative light during her stint on the series.
What did Palin say on the way out, exactly?
And how have her former colleagues and husband reacted to Bristol’s departure?
Scroll down to find out!
First, the Announcement:

“Teen mom OG wasn’t a fit for me, it took away my peace.. and honestly – my peace has a price tag that no one but God can afford,” Palin wrote this week on Instagram.
Didn’t She Make $250,000 Last Season as a Salary?

Yup, but this is someone who doesn’t care about material things, people!
Isn’t That Right, B?

“$ doesn’t impress me, I don’t entertain bs, and walking away from this show allows God to rebuild me (and my little fam) in the right direction,” Palin continued.
Did She Have a Message for Her Co-Stars?

Yes, and it was positive: “I have love for all the girls on the show, and wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors!! xoxo, B.”
Makes Sense, Right?

Those who watched Bristol last season barely saw her interact with other Teen Moms at all. Her entire storyline was centered on her failed marriage to Dakota Meyer.
How Do These Co-Stars Therefore Feel?

“I am not shocked that she’s not going to continue. I wish her and her family the best and all the luck on her next endeavors,” Cheyenne Floyd tells Us Weekly. “I have no clue if there will be a replacement, and if so, welcome aboard. Bristol is very nice and I will miss her being a part of our show.”
Didn’t Floyd Disagree with Bristol’s Politics, Though?

Not really. “I never had a problem with her being conservative,” she says. “It never concerned me.”
Chyenne Can Also Relate to Bristol

Both were new to the show last year and: “We went in as the new girls and had a lot of pressure on us — as do all the girls,” Floyd explains here. “It’s overwhelming!”
Is Floyd Sticking Around Teen Mom?

Yup! “I don’t regret doing the show. I love having the opportunity to share my life and journey and hope that being vulnerable will help someone else,” she told Us.
What About Her Baby Daddy?

Cory Wharton has already said he plans to make future appearances.
More Reaction…

“[I] 100% support that decision and I’m happy for her,” Dakota wrote when asked how he felt. “It was 100% on Bristol’s terms. She wanted to pick what was best for everyone over the money.”
See Ya, MTV!

“[It feels] amazing!” he wrote of him and Palin being off the show. “I feel like I can finally close the last chapter and move on!”
Farewell from Maci…

“Will definitely miss working with u pretty girl! Definitely still have to get the boys together! Xoxo,” Maci Bookout wrote in response to Bristol leaving.
Now, for the Real Question…

… WHO WILL REPLACE BRISTOL AS A CAST MEMBER?
It Won’t Be Farrah Abraham, Will It?!?

This has become the Internet rumor, and it’s clearly our hope for the sake of entertaining content. But we can’t imagine MTV bringing back the amateur porn star.
Any Other Options?

Madison Channing Walls appears ready and willing to come on board. She appeared on a season of The Real World, but she’s likely best known to Teen Mom fans as a former girlfriend of Javi Marroquin’s. How much fun would that be?!?
Mackenzie McKee Would Totally Do It, Too

This reality star was close to being named as a replacement for Farrah instead of Bristol or Cheyenne. She would gladly take the open spot now.
What About Jamie Lynn Spears?

She was maybe the first famous teenage mother of the modern gossip era. But seems content to remain out of the spotlight.
Any Other Ideas?

Who do YOU want to see on the next season of Teen Mom OG, readers? Anyone we’re forgetting?
