Roger Mathews has admitted to assaulting Jenni “JWOWW” Farley.
Following a series of scathing messages back and forth between Farley and Mathews this week, the latter has written a very long and revealing letter to the Jersey Shore star on his official website.
It addresses Farley’s claims that Mathews has pushed and hit her .
It also addresses a video Farley posted that appeared to depict Mathews shoving her to the ground.
We’ve summarized Mathews’ letter below and included many excerpts from it, while also outlining the ongoing feud between these estranged spouses, who share two young kids together.

Where Do We Even Begin Here?
(2013 Getty Images) With some quick background, we guess: The couple got married in October 2015 and share a two-year old son, who is Autistic, and a three-year old daughter.
Farley Filed for Divorce in September 2018
(Getty) She cited irreconcilable differences at the time and Mathews immediately said on social media that he planned to win her back. All seemed okay.
But Then…
(Getty) … the two got into a major verbal altercation inside their home in December 2018. The police were called. Mathews was escorted out of his house and Farley was granted a restraining order against him.
Fast Forward About 6 Weeks…
(Getty) … and Farley exploded at Mathews via a lengthy letter of her own on her own official website. It accused Mathews of making “false accusations” against her and trying to “disgrace” her name.
It Said A LOT More, Too
Farley alleged that Mathews has abused her and mistreated her and shoved her, writing at one point: “Your actions have and continue to place the children in harm’s way. Stop, pause and have a true reality check.”

JWOWW and Roger Mathews pose here for an Instagram selfie. The couple got married in October 2015 and announced at the same time they were expecting baby number-two.
Mathews Then Responded on Video You can check out his initial reply to Jenni’s allegations above, during which he says: “I sit here humbly before you today a pretty heartbroken man in light of recent circumstances and things that were said about me in a long rambling rant that was highly erroneous and had many lies in it.”
But Mathews Never Really Denied the Assault Claim
Jenni even released the video we cited previously, in which Mathews pushes her to the ground in their kitchen at home. Roger did not deny placing his hands on her in his response to her claims.
Here is That Video It’s evident what is happening in it, don’t you agree?
So… Here We Are Now
(Getty) And Mathews has now penned his own VERY long letter, addressing Farley directing in it.
Mathews Takes Responsibility for His Actions
(Getty) “You painted me as a woman beater. The facts are these,” he writes in this new message. “No one, man or woman, husband or wife has the right to put their hands on each other. I take responsibility for that night in question, and one other night that I can think of that, I pushed you. You edited out your actions and violent behavior prior to me pushing you which I knew you would do.”
It Was Your Fault, But Still
Y”ou have punched me in the face you have always been the aggressor…You are always the aggressor,” Roger says. “I want to say right here, and right now that did not give me the right to push you, and for that I am sorry, and I apologized at the time too.”
A Quasi Peace Offering
Mathews included this photo with his letter, clearing trying to make peace of some kind by reminding Jenni of the fun times they’ve had as a family.
Continued Mathews in His Letter:
(Getty) “We spent eight years together Jenni. Eight years. Much of it was happy times, and yes some of it we lived a nightmare. You threatened to divorce me almost weekly from the day we were married, and it was I who tried to convince you we were not ready for marriage. In the end, it seems I was right.”
Bringing Up the Children
(Getty) Mathews charged that Farley arranged daughter MeilaniâÂÂs schooling schedule so that it would limit the amount of time he could spend with both of their children.
As for That Fight in December?
Matthews wrote that Meilani was sick and disappointed that her mom had to work and couldn’t take care of her — and when he tried to talk to Farley about it, she âÂÂbecame more enraged and then told our daughter that âÂÂI wish I never had kids with your fatherâ and âÂÂSay goodbye to your dad because he is out of here.â”
How Dare You?!?
(Getty) Mathews said to Farley in his letter âÂÂâ¦you posted for the world to see and painted me as a monster and an abuser. You released it on your website knowing it would generate massive traffic and used it also as a promotional tool to promote several launches for youtube channels and products also released that day.”
There’s a Major Debate Over Little Greyson, Too
Farley has talked openly about how the infant has been diagnosed with Autism… but Mathews doesn’t seem to agree.
Like, a MAJOR Debate
“As far as our son goes, we differ on his diagnosis, yes,” Mathews writes in his letter. “Many people, some of which I cannot name for they are in fear of retaliation from you, do not believe he is autistic. That includes some of HIS VERY OWN THERAPISTS. He is an amazing little boy and so high functioning.”
You’re So Greedy!
(Getty) Mathews also trashed JWoww for requesting child support from him, writing: “You make millions of dollars a year. Millions. I make maybe $100,000.”
More Abuse Allegations
Mathews went on to say that JWOWW once threw a vacuum cleaner and another time a candle at him.
The Letter is Long, Kind of Apologetic and Also Accusatory
