Two days after welcoming their first child into the world, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry debuted the still-unnamed little boy at St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle (where they had their royal wedding reception).
The famous couple had previously announced it would not pose with the infant outside of the hospital immediately after birth, somewhat bucking Royal tradition.
But the small wait has now been made worthwhile because this tiny guy is just such a cutie patootie.
And his parents look so very happy!

“He’s just been a dream,†Meghan added of her boy. “It’s been a special couple of days.â€Â
The Royal Announcement
Meghan and Harry had previously used their Instagram account to confirm they were not parents, writing: “We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz.”
And Concluding at the Time:
“The duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.â€Â
Harry Has Said Some Stuff, Though
“Meghan and myself had a baby boy early this morning – a very healthy boy,†the Duke of Sussex told media members shortly after the birth.
He Continued:
“Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. This has been the most amazing experience I could possibly imagine. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension.”
And He Kept Gushing:
“But we are both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everyone out there. It’s been amazing.”
And He KEPT Gushing and Gushing
“I haven’t been in many births. This is definitely my first birth. It was amazing, absolutely incredible. As I said, I am so incredibly proud of my wife and as every father and parent would ever say, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I’m just over the moon.”
Even Thomas Markle Sent Some Well Wishes
“I’m delighted to hear that mother and child are doing well,” Meghan’s polarizing dad told The Mirror, adding: “I am proud that my new grandson is born into the British royal family.”
Concluded Markle’s Irritating Dad
“I am sure that he will grow up to serve the crown and the people of Britain… God bless the child. And I wish him health and happiness… My congratulations to my lovely daughter Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry.”

You bet! Here is their statement: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news of the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son today, and look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family.”

“It’s really exciting for both of them,†the mother of three told reporters on Tuesday, adding: These next few weeks, it’s always very daunting first time around so wish them all the best.”

“Parenting is amazing,†Harry said on Wednesday. “It’s only been, what? Two and a half days, three days. But we’re so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy and spend some precious time as he slowly starts to grow up.â€Â
