Jenelle Evans would like to set the record straight.
The Teen Mom 2 star was rushed to the hospital a few days ago after getting into some kind of altercation with husband David Eason.
This much is not up for debate.
But what actually transpired between the couple?
Did Eason really attack Evans, as Jenelle herself seemed to admit to on a 911 call?
Evans has spoken to E! News about the incident and done the best she can to explain where things stand between her and Eason.

How Did This Latest Controversy Start?

On Saturday, October 13, Jenelle was taken to the hospital. This is not in dispute. The chief of 911 operations for Columbus County, North Carolina has said two police officers responded to a 911 call placed from the home of Evans and her husband David Eason.
What Else Do We Know About This Call?

It was placed by a female just before 10 p.m. and was “called in as an assault,” the chief said for the record. An ambulance was also requested but later canceled.
Was Eason Involved?

No, not according to a rep for Evans, who told People Magazine that the veteran MTV star “had friends over Saturday night and they had a bonfire on her property. Jenelle ended up tripping and falling by the fire.”
Oh… Really?!?

This story seemed fishy from the beginning. To pretty much everyone.
Nothing to See Here… Except Hotness!

Eason shared this photo of Jenelle shortly after the incident, including with it a tawdry caption and making it seem like all was fine between the couple.
But Here’s the Thing:

Jenelle called 911. The call is on tape. TMZ obtained a copy. And we know what she at least said to the dispatcher.
This is What She Said:

“My name is Jenelle Eason…and my husband, he just assaulted me. He pinned me down on the ground…in the yard and I think I heard my f-cking collarbone crack. I can’t move my arm.”
Ummm… YIKES

Right?!? Continues Evans on this emergency call: “He’s been drinking and I think that he got violent ’cause he was drinking. I’m recovering from a surgery I got on Monday.”
Yes, Eason Did This

Evans identified her husband as “David Eason.” The operator told her that police and an ambulance would be sent to her home and asked her if her husband has any weapons. Jenelle said she didn’t know and that she had four children sleeping in the house.
So… Where Do Things Stand Now?

Just hours after this call was made public, Eason shared a video on his Instagram Story of him and Jenelle out to dinner. “Little sizzle, dizzle here,” he can be heard saying while zooming in on a spread that included lamb chops and seafood.
And Here’s What Jenelle Looked Like on This Date

Jenelle Defends David

Speaking out for the first time since the 911 call went viral, Evans said the following to E!: “It was a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding. Everything is great…We are totally fine.”
What? Really?!?

“We are feeling fine,” Evans added, continuing as follows: “Just taking time off social media…time to focus on ourselves and our family.”
What’s the History Here?

Evans and Eason got married in September of2017. They share daughter Ensley, 20 months. And Evans is also a mother to son Jace, 9, with ex Andrew Lewis; and son Kaiser, 4, with ex Nathan Griffith.
Is Eason Still on Teen Mom?

No, he got fired for making many homophobic and bigoted comments on social media.
Evans Has No Idea What to Do

She said this herself in the 911 call, telling the dispatcher: “I don’t know what to do right now. [David] left with his friend.”
GET OUT NOW!

“Family and friends hope she leaves” the marriage, a source close to the situation tells Us Weekly, adding that no one who knows this relationship is surprised that Eason could be abusive.
Come on, Be Honest…

… are you surprised? Do you find this assault story hard to believe?
What Will Happen Next?!?

Jenelle’s kids were in the house at the time of the reported attack. Despite his intoxicated state, David fled the scene in his truck after the incident… allegedly with one of the kids in the car.
You Have Kids, Jenelle
