David Eason is a homophobic, interolent bigot with a violent side who almost definitely broke his own wife’s collarbone a few weeks ago.
And Jenelle Evans thinks he’d make a wonderful father!
To be clear, of course, David Eason already is a father.
He has a daughter named Ensley with Evans and a son named Kaden with an ex.
But Jenelle recently told a follower that she may let Eason adopt her son Jace someday, something the former Teen Mom star is apparently anxious to do.
God help you, Jace.
Scroll down to see how this all came up…
Poor Jace

We’ve been saying “poor Jace” for years now, as the nine-year old is stuck between Jenelle and her anger-filled mother, Barbara, who share custody of him.
Jace Has Spent a Lot of Time with His Stepdad, Too, Of Course

“Me and Jace had a blast killing squirrels yesterday! He has a great shot!” wrote Eason as a caption to this photo. “I taught him how to skin and clean them, and yes we do eat these critters. They are actually very delicious, got em on marinate right now!”
Who is Jace’s Dad?

This dude! His name is Andrew Lewis and he’s basically never been in his son’s life.
But Maybe Eason Can Be His Dad… for Real!

During an Instagram Q&A with fans on Tuesday, January 22, Evans revealed that Eason wants to adopt her 9-year-old son “one day.”
Eason Doesn’t Like Lewis

Evans also added that Eason “doesn’t like” that fact that Lewis tried to contact Jace through MTV producers during the Monday, January 21, episode of Teen Mom 2.
Buh-Bye, Andrew!

“Andrew had his chance a long time ago,” Evans said in this chat of her ex-lover, who was written into Jenelle’s storyline for this new season of Teen Mom 2.
How Did He Make a Return?

Lewis reached out to one of the show’s producers on the aforementioned Teen Mom 2 episode, saying that he was back in New York and wanted to meet up with the family. “Are you down to bring Jace to New York City, and Barbara and Jenelle? I can’t travel because of work. I would love to see Jace. How would Jenelle feel about it?” he said.
He Made Similar Claims in the Past

During The Ex Files, the Teen Mom special Andrew filmed back in 2017, he claimed that he wanted to spend time with young Jace.
I Miss Him, Guys

“I would love to have a relationship with Jace,” Lewis said back then. “I dream about him every day. I think about him everyday. The reason I don’t Google him or look him up is because it’ll hurt me.”
Thanks, But No Thanks

“I’d rather Andrew be completely out of Jace’s life instead of being in and out,” Jenelle said at the time. “Maybe he should just stay out.”
Jace Has to Learn His Family History

“It’s messed up he doesn’t know he has a grandfather with a medal of honor,” Lewis texted the MTV producer on this recent installment. “A great uncle that’s one of the most successful ghost writers and guitar teachers of all time.”
Would Evans Let Andrew Back in Her Son’s Life?

“I don’t know if it’s a good thing or not cause he already sounds drunk when you read me those text messages,” the Teen Mom star told the producer on air. “I do feel bad. I don’t feel like shutting Jace’s dad out.”
HOWEVER…

“I know how he f-cking is,” Evans added. “I don’t want to disappoint my son. I don’t want [him] to pop in his life and then pop back out. That’s happened as a child when my dad did it to me and I’m not having it happen to Jace.”
Barbara Lays Down Her Law

“You haven’t seen him his whole life. And I don’t want you to come into his life and see him once or twice and not see him again,” she told Andrew on this episode, speaking for Jenelle as well.
She Really Let Him Have It

“You’re hitting me out of the blue,” Babs added. “I know in the past you’ve had a drinking problem. Maybe I can come to New York and meet you alone and make sure everything is okay and Jace is safe around you. Let’s make a plan.”
That’s in the Past, Lewis Insisted

He replied to Barbara as follows, slamming Evans while defending himself: “I was drinking and doing all that stuff that I used to do in the past. I’m 33 years old now. The true low life in a relationship is a woman keeping her child away from a loving father!”
Concluded Lewis:

“I want to figure out some way to get Jace to know me. It’s been 9 years. We can’t hold a grudge anymore.”
Would Eason Be Open to Lewis Being Back Around?

LOL, no! Eason is in such a dispute with Jenelle’s second baby daddy, Nathan Griffith, that he recently accused Nathan of raping a little boy. No, he would not be welcoming to Andrew.
Lewis Sort of Sucks Anyway

In her book, Evans wrote that she met Andrew online when she was just 15 — and he was at least 21. “I became a doormat for the guy. He came and got what he wanted from me, when he wanted it, and I waited for him to tell me what to do,” she said. “We had to talk when he wanted to talk, no matter the odd hours. We had to go out when he wanted to go out. We did what he wanted to do.”
Yeah, But Eason Sucks, Too

So, so, so very much. That’s how we end up here back where we started: Poor Jace.
