Cory Wharton is about to be a father for the second time.
As previously reported, the alleged Teen Mom OG personality and girlfriend Taylor Selfridge are expecting a child.
This is an exciting time for the ex-boyfriend of Cheyenne Floyd, who made many headlines in 2018 by appearing on the aforementioned MTV series as part of a storyline with Floyd, a relatively new member of this franchise.
HOWEVER, a damning new allegation may be preventing Wharton from being in a celebratory mood right about now.

Who is Cory Wharton Again?
He is the father of Floyd’s daughter, Ryder, but there’s a slight caveat: He didn’t know he was the father until this little girl was six months old.
Huh? What Do You Mean?
That’s when Floyd finally dropped the news on Wharton, who totally accepted responsibility and who seems to be pretty close to his first child.
What About Cory and Cheyenne?
They spent all of Floyd’s first season on Teen Mom OG fighting and flirting, teasing a long-term relationship but never committing to one mostly because Wharton did not want to.
And Now?
Floyd has a new boyfriend and Wharton has been dating Taylor Selfridge since February of 2019.
They’re More Than Just Dating Now, Though
Wharton and Selfridge confirmed to Us Weekly on October 16, 2019 that they’re expecting a son or daughter. Surprise!
She Didn’t See This Coming!
“It was definitely a surprise,†Cory told the tabloid, adding that he and Taylor found out about the pregnancy two months ago and she’s 11 weeks along.
Hooray?
“Just my luck,” Wharton joked on Instagram about the pregnancy, prompting many followers to think he was NOT joking and also not psyched about the development.
But Cory Claims Otherwise
“Just being there from the day she found out that she’s pregnant and knowing that it was mine, I knew that I was going to have to step up,†Cory told Us. “It’s exciting for me. It’s gonna be a lot, but I’m excited. I never went to an ultrasound, you know? I never went to the doctor’s appointments to see her check-ups and things like that. So for me, this is like my first baby almost, as weird as that sounds.â€Â

Wharton also posted this cute picture to his Instagram Live page, clearly trying to make it look like he’s looking forward to a baby coming out of there.

Yes, dammit! “I’ve been debating on what to say and how to exactly say it, and I found that I just want to talk from the heart quick,†he added later on Instagram. “I’m excited to say that YES Taylor is pregnant! Ryder is going to be a big sister, o boyyy.”
Surprises Can Be Pleasant, Okay?!?
“I also wanted to let you guys know that we weren’t trying to have a baby right now, but sometimes God puts things into your life that you don’t really understand at the time but it’s always turns out to be a bigger blessing,†Wharton continued.
When Did Cory and Taylor Get Together?
The MTV stars met when they were both filming Ex on the Beach Season 1 in 2017. They dated on and off for years, prior to getting back together in February.
This is SO Amazing!
“I’m really excited to share this journey with you guys. All that I ask from you guys is respect for Taylor, respect for me and most importantly respect for the baby,†Cory went on to write online.
God, Hear My Prayers…
“All that I want is a healthy baby that is brought into a very positive environment and surround by good energy and love. The same way that I am raising Ryder. This is a very exciting time for mine and Taylor’s families. Never did I think by 28 I would have two children but here we are,” Cory wrote.
This Sounds Promising and Everything…
… but not everyone is as pumped up as Cory about Taylor’s pregnancy. Take a woman from Buffalo, for instance.
Wait, What? Who?!?
During Cory’s Instagram Live chat, this individual (reportedly named Samanta) popped up and asked: “Should I be like ‘Was she pregnant while you tried hooking up with me while you were in Buffalo? Or when you sent me dick vids, or when you wanted me to come to NYC and come to your hotel room?â€Â
Yikes!
Wharton – who had been following Samantha on Instagram up until that comment was posted — quickly unfollowed her and has not commented on her allegation.
What Has Taylor Said?
Just this, really, to People Magazine: “Cory and I are very happy and excited to share this journey togethe. Cory’s hoping for a girl and I’m just blessed to be having my first child.”
Ultrasound Alert!
For now, the couple is just focusing on the impending baby, sharing this photo on Instagram and maintaining a unified front.
What About Cheyenne?
The Teen Mom star shared the news on her Instagram story with nothing but congratulations for Cory. “Congratulations. Babies are a blessing,” she wrote. “Can’t believe Ryder is going to be a big sister.”
Everything is All Good!
With Floyd, that is. “I went over to Cheyenne’s house and I was dropping Ryder off and I just said, ‘Hey, so Ryder’s going to be a sister!’ There’s no easy way to tell somebody that,” Cory told Us Weekly. “I just had to drop the bomb. So I told her, and her sister was there. They were just asking me all the questions, like, ‘Are you OK?’ ‘How’s Taylor doing?’ ‘Does she need a doctor?’ They really were supportive from day one.”

The Teen Mom fan page that initially broke the story of Cory’s wandering c–k has apparently heard from Wharton’s lawyers and removed the evidence.

Due to current or pending litigation, this fan page will no longer be discussing Cory … in general. Cheyenne Floyd and the other Teen Mom stars are still fair game, but no more Wharton, under the advice of counsel.
