On February 21, Teen Mom OG duo Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra welcomed a precious little baby girl into the world.
“But wait,” you may be wondering, “how do you know she’s precious? We’ve never even seen a photo of her!”
We know she’s precious, friends.
Catelynn and Tyler were kind enough to share photos of their brand new bundle of joy with The Hollywood Gossip exclusively.
And trust us, she’s CUTE.
These darling pictures were taken for the couple by two talented Michigan photographers, Brittni Marie and Four 13 Photography.
So, ready to see the baby?! Let’s take a look back at how the young family got to this magical point, and meet their new angel!
Time Flies, Huh?
Doesn’t it seem like just yesterday that Catelynn and Tyler were on 16 and Pregnant, dealing with issues that no teenagers should ever have to deal with?

Back then, they made the incredibly difficult and selfless decision to place their baby for adoption so that she could have a better life, and so many people have supported them ever since.
Growing Up
They’ve had their ups and downs since then, of course, but eventually they decided to get pregnant again, and in 2015, Nova was born.
First Comes Love …
Several months later, they finally got married, too!
Heartbreaking
We all know that around this time, things got really bad — Cate was suffering from postpartum depression, and while Tyler was very supportive, it was clearly a difficult time for the family.
Going Strong
But they pulled through, just like they always do.
Oh No …
Catelynn and Tyler had always said they wanted more children, and they’ve also been open about wanting to have them close together, so in late 2017, they decided to start trying for another, and she quickly got pregnant.
So Sad
Unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage soon after, and it proved to be extremely traumatic for the family, enough that she felt the need to check into a treatment center in Arizona.
A Tough Time
The next several months were very hard on both Catelynn and Tyler. Her depression was worse than ever, and he was so unhappy with things that he asked for a trial separation. The couple was remarkably candid and open about this process, with each other and their fans.
Whoa!
But in the middle of all that turmoil, Catelynn became pregnant.
What a Turn of Events
They were the first to admit that perhaps the timing wasn’t the greatest, but still, they went through with the trial separation while Tyler worked on the couple’s new house and Catelynn prepared for the baby, and things, well, things just worked out.
Awww!
Now, they seem happier than ever, and we’re sure part of that is that Catelynn had that baby of theirs!
Hooray!
On the morning of February 21st, Tyler shared this photo on Instagram, declaring “She’s here & I’m in love!”

From the photo he posted, we learned that both Catelynn and the baby were doing well, and that the baby weighed in at six pounds and four ounces.
The Name!
And although they’d said on Teen Mom OG that they’d planned on naming her Tezlee, you can see that her name begins with a V.
Little Vaeda!
They soon revealed that they named their new baby girl Vaeda Luma, which honestly is a really good name.
There She Is, Kind Of!
Tyler shared this photo of her a couple of days later when they came home from the hospital, and in his caption, he wrote “Welcome home Vaeda! Mommy & Daddy love you so much & can’t wait to watch you grow with love in this crazy family of ours!”
Uh …
His followers did appreciate the photo, but there was one problem – they wanted to see her whole face! Not that you can blame them, but Tyler explained why they had to be patient, and he was completely honest.
Makes Sense
Tyler did respond to a comment about this very subject, explaining that they were waiting to share Vaeda’s first photos until they worked out a deal to get compensated for those photos. For Vaeda’s future.
Get It, Tyler
Baltierra candidly pointed out that all the money from that kind of thing goes to college funds and trust funds for the kids. You can’t really blame him for that, you know?
More Than Fair
Catelynn and Tyler are in a unique situation, being in reality TV, and if he can get money for his kid’s futures by selling photos … why wouldn’t he?

Meanwhile, before the big reveal, he shared photos like this one of Vaeda’s room, which he’s been working on decorating.

And that’s really sweet and all, but like … we still want to see pictures of the baby.

You may notice that Catelynn is only in a couple of these pictures, but remember, she gave birth less than two weeks ago, so she’s probably not feeling as up for a photo shoot as the rest of the family. Because giving birth is hard.
