Set Designer On The Hills Has Good Taste In Books
National Book Winner is MTV approved

Um, did you see The Hills this week? OMG, Heidi totally tried to apologize to Lauren for the whole sex tape thing, Lauren was all like, ???I want to forgive you, and forget you.??? Oh snap, what a play on the ???forgive and forget??? expression.

But anyway, you wouldn???t know it by the way they talk, but allegedly Spencer and Heidi read. Either that, or MTV wants you to think they do. In this episode, Legacy of Ashes: The History of the CIA by Tim Weiner rested casually on their coffee table.

Well, if this isn???t Tim Weiner???s week. Not only did his book get some totally valuable product placement on The Hills, he also won the National Book Award. Soon thousands will buy this book to seem smart, just like Spencer Pratt.

since Tim Weiner (or as my husband Josh Starbuck says: Tim Winner) is my brother in law, I sure am glad The Hills product placed his book on their show — whether they want to make their actors look smart or they really are — I say very well done on their part!!!
The Hills move could be called prescient product placement. Cheers — thanks for the info Jossip!!
