The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes says she will visit Teresa Giudice in prison if she can, and stands in solidarity with her fellow Bravo star.

NeNe opened up about the two celebs’ somewhat surprising friendship on Sunday’s edition of Watch What Happens Live, telling host Andy Cohen:

“I would even visit her [in prison next year], I really would … I feel bad for her. I feel like when Teresa calls me, she knows she’s going to get real true advice.”

NeNe, who was promoting The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 1, said she’s given Teresa guidance on various matters in the past year.

She declined to get too specific as to the topics they discuss.

“I don’t want to say her business out there,” she said.

NeNe said she didn’t call Teresa immediately following her October 2 sentencing on fraud charges because of how chaotic she figured things would be.

She was thinking of her, though, early and often.

“When I spoke to her I said ‘I know so many people were going to text you and call you and I didn’t want to be that person,’” she recalled to Cohen.

When they finally did speak, NeNe said that the Bravo-lebrities had “a very real conversation,” and that Teresa has since called her “several times.”

Ironically, NeNe’s lack of friendship with her own cast mates is impossible to avoid if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online these days.

Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey in particular have been at odds with NeNe, who’s considered quitting the show because of the avalanche of “drama.”

“I’m very over all the negativity … I don’t want to be in a negative space every single time I go to work, so I must say when I talk about growth, I have grown,” Leakes said.

“No matter what I have done in the past, I honestly do not want to get up every day and sit with a bunch of negative women that are b!tching over nothing.”

She will show up and put up with it – for the right price, as she’s shown time and again, as she always ends up signing on for a new season on Bravo.

But it still sucks, people!
