This summer, Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney surprised some fans with the harsh realities of acting.
A lot of people assume that people on television are automatically rich. Those are the exceptions.
Sydney’s HBO stardom has brought her fame … and some of the problems that come with it.
She’s now embroiled in a lawsuit. The company suing her for millions is also shaming her for on-screen nudity. WTF?
LA Collective is a company that is suing Sydney Sweeney, claiming that a swimsuit line deal went south.
The company, which apparently enjoys a troubled reputation, is pulling out all of the stops in their attacks on the actress.
Per the accusations, Sydney allegedly agreed to work with them and backed out … somehow costing the company $3 million.
Meanwhile, Sydney says that she never signed the deal.
In fact, she ended talks when she heard about the company’s reputation and history.
RadarOnline got their hands on a filing where LA Collective disparages Sydney.
The documents refer to Sydney as a “former MMA fighter turned actress and model.”
For the record, Sydney Sweeney is one of the most discussed actors of 2022.
Imagine a lawsuit referring to Tom Hanks as an “occasional voice actor.” It’s deliberately obtuse.
“She has starred in a few B movies,” the filing describes.
“And,” it continues, “some television episodes that have aired on HBO, Netflix and U Tube [sic].”
In an obviously disparaging tone, the filing adds: “most of which feature her in sex scenes.”
“The internet is also replete with videos and pictures of Sweeney naked,” LA Collective shaded.
“And engaging in activity that appeals to the prurient interest,” the filing continued.
LA Collective went on nastily: “Since she is obviously not ready for prime time and may never be.”
The filing claimed that “Sweeney needed to supplement her income by launching a swimwear line.”
LA Collective alleged that she wanted products “that she could promote by wearing the products on her television show.”
The brand then claims that Sydney is using a handful of bad reviews as an excuse to pull out of an alleged deal.
“it is hard to understand how she would suffer any more reputation damage than what she has already incurred,” LA Collective claimed.
The vile filing continued: “as a result of her pornographic videos and salacious internet depictions.”
LA Colective added: “Which were entirely self-inflicted wounds.” They ask that her motion to dismiss certain claims be denied.
