Just about every major event that's set to take place over the next 2-3 months has been canceled or postponed.
But as far as we know, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will still be stepping down from their roles as senior members of the royal family on April 1, as scheduled.
And it seems certain members of the royal family are not happy with the fact that everything is proceeding apace.
Obviously, the wheels started turning on Megxit long before pandemic anxiety seized the entire globe, and it seems the Duke and Duchess of Sussex see no reason why their plans should be thrown off course.
As we reported yesterday, Harry is deeply concerned about the coronavirus, and he reportedly feels that his new home on Vancouver Island is the safest place for his family at he moment.
He's almost certainly right that the country home offers more protection from the outbreak than any living situation he would be able to find in London at the moment.
But it seems his decision to stay put and continue with the process of distancing himself from royal life has only exacerbated the never-ending feud between Prince Harry and Prince William.
“Publicly, they’ve stopped short of trash-talking each other,” an insider tells Us Weekly.
“But behind closed doors, they’re both filled with anger and resentment.”
The source adds that long-simmering resentments between the brothers have bubbled to the surface in recent weeks.
“Harry knows William’s mad at him for uprooting and leaving him to pick up the pieces,” the source says.
“But the way Harry sees it, Meghan’s happiness is way more important....Harry’s fed up with being judged or expected to act a certain way.”
While the situation between the brothers has certainly deteriorated in recent weeks, it seems the princes have been upset with one another for much longer than that.
“There’s always been a part of Harry that felt like he was living in his brother’s shadow," says the insider.
"He doesn’t envy the responsibility that comes with being the future king of England, but William’s the ‘golden boy’ and Harry feels like he has a lot to live up to.”
Harry may have found a modicum of belief in leaving those pressures behind and starting a new life on a different continent.
But that doesn't mean this is a peaceful time for the new father.
Insiders tell Page Six that Harry and Meghan feel “a bit helpless and isolated out in the middle of nowhere" amid the current pandemic.
Meghan is reportedly keeping household staff "to a bare minimum” and exercising an abundance of caution in her interactions.
“Everyone on their team, the people who buy groceries and run errands, wear latex gloves at all times and are to follow a strict hygiene protocol,” a source says.
It's good to hear the Sussexes are playing it safe.
As we were reminded by yesterday's news about Prince Albert of Monaco, even royals aren't safe from the coronavirus.
