Kailyn Lowry has a lot on her mind these days.
In case you haven’t heard, the veteran Teen Mom star may be pregnant with Chris Lopez’s child yet again, which would just be, like…
… YIKES, you know?
Therefore — whether Kailyn actually has anther bun in her busy over or whether she simply has to deal with all this chatter online — now is really not the time for the MTV personality to also be faced with a crapload of BS from social media trolls.
And yet that’s exactly what it happening.
In a video recently posted online by the Teen Mom 2 cast member, Kailyn’s son Lux Russell is happily dancing along to music while wearing a diaper.
Lowry captioned the sweet moment with three crying face emoji’s out of joy.
And yet… because so many people out there just live to criticize… many fans were quick to parent-shame the polarizing star for letting the toddler still wear diapers.
One comment in particular read, "Lux needs to be out of diapers," and it understandably set Kailyn off.
"Lux turned 2 in August. I’m not going to rush him into something based on someone else’s standards," she fired back, adding very simply and sternly:
"What works for us is waiting until he’s ready. Not when IM ready."
It’s almost always wrong to take issue with a stranger’s parenting because you really have no idea what is going on that individual’s life.
Or in the child’s life, either, it’s important to remember.
But this seems like an especially unfair reason to jump all over Lowry because a two-and-a-half-year old still being in diapers really isn’t that unusual at all.
It’s just not. As Kailyn rightly points out above, all kids go through various stages at different rates and speeds and Lux may have just not taken yet to potty training — but this is also totally normal for a kid his age!
Kailyn, of course, shares son Lux with ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez.
In a stunning new development, Lopez’s aunt has alleged that Kailyn is pregnant with her nephew’s baby again … going as far as to say she’s due on July 25.
We cann’t vertify right now whether or not this is an accurate claim.
Lowry, meanwhile, previously opened up about their the pair’s rocky relationship; at one point even sharing that they don’t actually have one of any kind, despite raising a young child together.
"You know, he cheated on me my whole pregnancy. The things I went through… All the way leading up to having him was something that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy," Lowry revealed to Dr. Drew Pinsky during one of the Teen Mom reunion shows.
"You know, it was like, ‘Oh, it’ll get better, it’ll get better’ and then it never got better. There’s no contact at all."
That’s pretty darn sad, for Lux’s sake and everything.
That’s a far more troubling development than anything related to Lux and his diapers.
