It's been a roller coaster year for Demi Lovato.
When 2019 began, the singer was fresh out of rehab and looking to rebuild her life with a man she had met in treatment.
Lovato's relationship with Henry Levy quickly fizzled, but she didn't let heartbreak get her down for long.
Over the summer, fans were abuzz about rumors that Demi was dating Mike Johnson of The Bachelorette fame.
But it seems the two were happy to stop at the "friends with benefits" stage, and they went their separate ways after a brief fling.
Now, however, there's a new man in Demi's life, and it looks as though this is no mere rebound romance.
As we learned earlier this week, Demi is dating a man named Austin Williams.
At first, people thought it was Justin Bieber in the pic, and the internet went absolutely bonkers.
Considering Bieber is newly-married, that would have made for quite a scandal.
Once the dust settled, fans noticed something interesting about the pics posted by Demi and Austin:
Namely, they both alluded to very strong mutual feelings in their caption.
Demi wrote, "My (heart emoji)" on hers, while Austin was even more blunt, writing, simply, "My Love."
Yes, it seems these two are in love, and they don't care who knows it.
So who is Austin?
Well, he's 100 percent not Justin Bieber, but he's led a pretty interesting life regardless.
Wilson is a 25-year-old model and California native.
His father, George Wilson, is a well-known skateboarder, and one of the famous Z-Boys of Dogtown.
It probably goes without saying that Wilson is a fan of tattoos, and he's reportedly sporting ink from some very well-known artists.
While it's currently unclear how Wilson and Lovato met, they were both grief-stricken by the loss of a mutual friend earlier this year.
Back in October, Demi revealed a small "T" tattoo in honor of a young man named Thomas who passed away unexpectedly.
Wilson paid tribute to the same Thomas on social media:
"RIP bro I love you so much. I'm so grateful for the times that we had while you were here. You are such a special soul," Austin wrote.
"You had the biggest heart and made everyone feel like a million dollars. I know you're looking down on us now."
Due to the timing, fans have speculated that Austin and Demi bonded over their shared grief.
But thus far, that's just speculation.
All we know for sure at this point is that Demi and Austin are in love -- and the singer seems very happy with her new man.
We wish her all the best in her new relationship.
