Good news, Sister Wives fans!
There's hope yet... for at least one of the unions featured on this long-running reality show.
In the wake of several stories and rumors that appeared to spell doom for Kody Brown and his numerous marriages, wife Christine has gone out of her way to seemingly assure folks that she and her husband are doing just fine at the moment.
That's how we interpret the photo above at least.
Others, of course, could interpret this as nothing but a marketing opportunity, considering the caption Christine included along with the image.
It reads as follows:
Our T-shirt, the LuLaRoe Hudson, is so soft!! Like puppy bellies. And unisex too! #lularoehudson #lularoeretailer #lovemylularoe #amazingview #flagstaffrocks.
Christine last posted a picture of herself and Kody back in May, giving us a look at the proud parents celebrating the graudation of daughter Aspyn.
It certainly does appear as if these two are on the same happy page at the moment.
And it also has appeared of late that this is unusual for Kody and his wives.
Earlier this week, we relayed the news that both Meri and Robyn may have sold their homes in Arizona and could be moving away from the family compound in Flagstaff.
“Saying goodbye to Flagstaff,” Meri wrote very clearly on Instagram, as you can see down below. “It’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you later.”
The unhappy reality star has been residing in Arizona for a year, and yet has made no real secret over the fact that she was sad to leave Las Vegas for this city last year.
She's also made not much of a secret for a very long time now that her strange arrangement with Kody really isn't working out for her.
In mid-May, Meri took an obvious shot at her colleagues and fellow Sister Wives when she wrote the following:
“I wish more women realized that helping another woman win, cheering her on, praying for her, or sharing a resource with her, does NOT take away from the blessings coming to them.
"In fact, the more you give, the more you receive. Empowering women doesn’t come from selfishness but rather from selflessness."
We previously detailed how Meri has basically split from the Sister Wives, but she's yet to make this official.
In April, during a Tell-All Special, Kody admitted that he and Meri had been through some dark times over the past few years.
"Meri and I had an abrupt change," Kody said on air. "Different culture, different religious values, we might have just [gotten a divorce], but we're fortunate enough to be blessed to be a part of a family that is its own culture."
Added Kody at this time:
"So we continue to move forward working on that, steadily moving in a direction where we're just fully mended."
Kody concluded back then that he and Meri were now "dating," and Meri sounded kind of on board with this plan.
"I'm looking at a future as well," she said in response to Kody's declaration in April. "I am, and I have a lot of hope for what could be."
