In light of reports that Tristan Thompson has little interest in being an actual father, it looks like Khloe Kardashian is embracing being a single mom.
She’ll never date Tristan again, but after multiple betrayals, she’s feeling too heartbroken to dive back into the world of dating.
Will she ever love again?
Entertainment Tonight reports that Khloe Kardashian has at least begun to adjust to her new, Tristan-free life.
"Khloe is really enjoying the single life," the insider reveals.
She’s not just sitting around moping about Tristan (or screaming "LIAR!!" into the phone like a maniac) anymore.
Khloe is keeping busy.
"And," the source says, Khloe has been "spending time with her favorite person in the world."
That person, the insider notes, is of course "True!"
But just because she’s spending time with the center of her world, her baby, doesn’t mean thta she’s forgotten her betrayal and humiliation.
"She still feels betrayed by Tristan," the source confirms.
He cheated on her with multiple women while she was pregnant.
She took him back, despite overwhelming advice to do the contrary.
He waited a few months and then, it seems, stopped caring about getting caught cheating again.
"But," the insider notes. "She isn’t allowing that to affect her happiness any longer."
What left Khloe so vulnerable to heartbreak was the amount of affection that she poured on Tristan, even after she knew he was a cheater.
"Khloe loves with all of her heart," the source characterizes.
"And," the insider continues, that is why she "gave Tristan another chance."
To, we assume, her everlasting regret.
But she won’t be repeating that specific mistake. At least, not with Tristan.
"But that relationship is over for good," the report confirms. Whew!
So, aside from being a supermom to baby True, what is she up to these days?
"Khloe is taking time to be single," the source says.
Being single can be a huge amount of fun for many people.
Khloe is also setting aside this newfound free time to "enjoy her friends and family."
"And," the insider adds, Khloe has not forgotten to "focus on her business."
But while business will help Khloe get richer, she’s not getting any younger. And she’s a relationship gal.
A girl has needs, so when is she going to get back on that proverbial horse?
"Khloe is in no rush to start dating seriously," the source reveals.
"But," the insider quickly acknowledges. "She is someone who has a lot of love to give."
"And," the source adds. "Would like someone to enjoy her time with in the future."
So she hasn’t decided to simply give up on men even after multiple relationships have ended disastrously and very publicly.
It is certainly good to hear that Khloe is in a better place, mentally and emotionally.
During Tristan’s cheating scandal, she lost a massive amount of public sympathy after appearing to place the blame on Jordyn Woods.
Jordyn says that she received an unsolicited kiss from Tristan. Khloe took to Twitter to accuse her of being a liar and of ruining her family.
The public did not like hearing Jordyn take the blame for Tristan’s actions.
Khloe is going to have to relive her unhinged behavior on this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
