The Voice’s 11th season has whittled its field of hundreds down to 20 singers, and anything is possible as they vie for votes in real time.
Which aspiring stars coached by Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine gave themselves the best chance to advance?

Team Alicia Keyes
Christian Cuevas
Christian performed “Yesterday” by The Beatles. It was a great showcase of his vocal range and it really showed the judges and the audience why he deserved to be in the Top 12.
Kylie Rothfield
Kylie went with “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction” by The Rolling Stones. The main issue with Kylie is that there doesn’t seem to be much room for change in her voice. She’s practically sounded the same all the way through the competition and that’s what ultimately cost her a spot in the Top 12.
Wé McDonald
Wé performed “Home” by Diana Ross. It was a surprisingly dull performance from this vocal powerhouse, but she still done enough to advance through to the next stage of the competition. She will need to up her game if she has any hopes of going much further.
Josh Halverson
Josh opted to sing “Cupid” by Sam Cooke. This ultimately cost him his spot in the competition due to him changing his style. There was just no element of surprise and had he performed a better song, he would have advanced further.
Sa’Rayah
Sa’Rayah sung her heart out to “I’d Rather go Blind” by Etta James. Her performance was surprising. It was an effortless affair and that’s why she was chosen to go through.
America’s Top Two: Christian Cuevas and Wé McDonald
Coach’s Choice: Sa’Rayah

Team Blake Shelton
Dana Harper
Dana performed “Maneater” by Hall & Oates. She made the mistake of not changing things from prior performances. She really should have been showcasing what sets her out from the crowd, but her performance felt the same as all of her others.
Austin Allsup
Austin went with “I Ain’t Livin’ Long Like This” by Rodney Crowell. After changing things up last week, Allsup proved that he was not just a fluke and could effortlessly sing in any situation and style.
Jason Warrior
Jason sung “Once Dance” by Drake. Jason really got the raw end of the deal with this song choice. It just didn’t fit his style and it felt more like something you would expect from the auditions stage of the game.
Sundance Head
Sundance went with “Blue Ain’t Your Color” by Keith Urban. It was another electrifying performance that showed us all just how much he deserved to be there.
Courtney Harrell
Courtney showed off her vocal prowess with “It Must Have Been Love” by Roxette. It was a rushed performance that threw her place in the competition into question. She clearly didn’t have enough time to rehearse the thing through.
America’s Top Two: Sundance Head & Austin Allsup
Coach’s Choice: Courtney Harrell
Team Miley Cyrus
Sophia Urista
Sophia went the surprising route and took on “Do You Think I’m Sexy” by Rod Stewart. Unfortunately, it was too late for her. Her performance was strong, but there were just better people in the competition.
Darby Walker
Darby sung “Those were the Days” by Mary Hopkin. She was the chick who sounded a little too much like Florence Welch, but she managed to break out of her shell with her performance.
Aaron Gibson
Aaron took on “Round Here” by the Counting Crows. His performance was certainly different when you benchmark him with the others, but it seems like America is loving him.
Belle Jewel
Belle performed “Runaway” by Del Shannon, but she struggled to perform on the same level as the other contestants. It was not the right song for her and that was evident.
Ali Caldwell
Ali went with “Times Have Changed” by Irma Thomas. Ali turned in a thrilling performance and we can’t wait to see what becomes of her as she goes furher.
America’s Top Two: Aaron Gibson and Ali Caldwell
Coach’s Choice: Darby Walker
Team Adam Levine
Brendan Fletcher
Brendan went with “To Love Somebody” by Michael Bolton. Brendan managed to beat the odds and turned in an infectious performance that solidified his standing as one of the best.
Simone Gundy
Simone sung for dear life to “Diamonds” by Rihanna. It’s crazy that she chose a song she would struggle with. I mean, you’d think she would have changed parts of it to match her vocal chops.
Josh Gallagher
Josh went with “Colder Weather” by Zac Brown Band. This dude is a country singer at heart and that will probably do wonders for his longevity in the game.
Riley Elmore
Riley went the predictable route and chose “Luck be a Lady” by Frank Sinatra. It was a method performance and proved that he can’t really change things up.
Billy Gilman
Billy turned in a solid performance of “Crying” by Roy Orbison. It was consistent with his previous performances and solidified him as a front runner to win the whole thing.
