We have another Taylor Swift sighting.
Repeat: WE HAVE ANOTHER TAYLOR SWIFT SIGHTING!
The singer, who basically pulled a Rob Kardashian and went into hiding for a duration of the summer after a couple of personal setbacks, has been making her presence felt around the country and social media over the past few weeks.
The artist was a guest at Drake's 30th birthday party, for example, actually fueling chatter that she and her fellow superstar are dating.
She also presented a major trophy at the CMA Awards last week, which followed her dressing up as Deadpool for a Halloween party.
So... where was Swift spotted on Monday evening?
At another birthday celebration, this one in honor of one of her closest friends: Lorde!
Wrote Swift to Lorde on Instagram yesterday:
“Thank you for the music you make, the advice you give, the thoughts you provoke, and the way you’ve made my life more beautiful since the first day we met up in New York and ate burgers on a park bench and got attacked by squirrels.
"I. Love. You. So. Much. Ella.”
The “Blank Space” crooner attended the bash in a leopard print coat with her brother, Austin, by her side.
She wasn't the only celebrity on hand at Carbone, an eatery in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood, either.
Lena Dunham was there. So was Aziz Ansari, who also rocked cat attire for the occasion and who bonded with Swift over their shared feline affection at one point.
Check out this adorable image:
While she earned more money than any other female musician in 2016, this has not been the best year of Taylor Swift's life.
She broke up with Calvin Harris, allegedly by phone, and then she got called out by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
They basically slammed her as a liar for claiming she did not give West permission to rap about her in the song "Famous."
After that, Swift ended her romance with Tom Hiddleston, making this the rare year in which Taylor was at the center of two heavily-publicized romances.
She seemed to take a planned break in response, perhaps realizing that the public was a tad sick of her and her viral dating life.
It was a smart move on Swift's part. Always leave them wanting more, right? Never leave them wanting to push you as far away as possible.
But now here is Swift again, just chilling with friends, reminding folks that she's normal and beloved and really a lot of fun.
The next question is this, however:
Only several weeks remain in 2016. Swift has released a new album at the end of every other year since 2006.
Will she do so again? Will Swift complete her comeback with brand new music and even the announcement of another tour?
Forget the outcome of the Presidential election. The world anxiously awaits this answer.
