On Saturday, Chelsea Houska, perhaps the best Teen Mom out of all the Teen Moms, married Cole DeBoer.
It was all very sweet and romantic, probably the cutest wedding ever, or so we’ve been imagining.
Chelsea is notoriously private for someone who allows so much of her life to be filmed for a reality show, and she’s said that she wouldn’t film her wedding to air on the show.
If you need a moment to take in that heartache, that’s totally understandable.
But she was still kind enough to share a lovely little photo of herself with Cole and her daughter, Aubree, at the wedding;
Doesn’t it just make you want to "awww" so hard your heart stops beating and you’re frozen in this precious, perfect time forever?
Too much?
Well, if you’re not the type to lose your mind over a cute-ass wedding, maybe you’re the type to sink your teeth into some juicy drama.
This is a Teen Mom wedding, after all. You know it couldn’t be completely devoid of it.
After Chelsea announced that she’d gotten married, some people noticed that Kailyn Lowry, who’s always seemed to be very close to Chelsea, wasn’t in attendance.
It was pretty odd, since Kailyn’s always been so quick to take a trip literally anywhere, but Chelsea took some time from her post-wedding bliss to address the situation.
"So as most of you already know," she wrote on Twitter, "yesterday Cole and I got married in a tiny ceremony just with our parents and siblings…next year, once our baby is here and able to be a part of it, we will have our big wedding ceremony and reception with our friends/extended family."
As for Kailyn specifically, Chelsea added that "My Kail love bug will be there next year."
So that makes sense, right?
But even though Chelsea explained everything, you know it couldn’t end there.
Some tabloids picked up the story about Kailyn not being at the wedding, and the story was twisted into Kailyn being "snubbed" by Chelsea.
When Chelsea saw one of those reports, she tweeted to Kailyn "Haha, this stuff is so dumb."
Kailyn responded with "hmmmm that’s weird cause I’m pretty sure the invite is on my fridge."
And there you have it, friends.
Chelsea and Kailyn’s friendship remains in tact, we’ll get to see them together next year at Chelsea’s big wedding (if we’re lucky — she’s made it clear that she won’t film that one, either).
Sometimes dreams really can come true.
