Dancing with the Stars aired a special night dedicated to the world of television on Monday.
Which meant only one thing for Jana Kramer: a hearkening back to the show that made her famous.
Oh, yes, One Tree Hill fans. You simply have to stop and watch this Tango...
Kramer - who portrayed Alex Dupré on the beloved teen drama from 2009 to 2012 - didn’t just team up with Gleb Savchenko to move and shake to “I Don’t Want To Be” by Gavin DeGraw, the theme song made famous by One Tree Hill.
She did so with DeGraw playing the smash hit single live!
(DeGraw made a few cameos as himself back when the show was on the air.)
Kramer received a 29 out of possible 40 points from the judges, which isn't shabby at all.
And it was the sort of positive response she needed after separating from her husband Michael Cassin last month, just seven months after giving birth to their first child, daughter Jolie Rae.
In an Instagram video recently posted, Kramer strongly hinted that Cassin cheated on her.
Moreover, Kramer revealed that she injured her ribs on the season premiere last Monday.
"I went to the doctors and found out that I have torn muscles in between my ribs. The doctor says I shouldn't dance," Kramer said this week, adding:
"I'm very worried that we're not going to be able to get through the dance. I don't want to leave the second week."
In their responses, the judges clearly recognized the pain Kramer was in.
"First of all, you're a trouper. I know the pain that you're going through. Well done for just going out and giving it your best shot," Julianne Hough said.
Added Carrie Ann Inaba:
“This is when you realize that dancing is truly a sport because that was a difficult routine to get through. I could see your pain the whole time. … You gave it your all."
Kramer also received support from her former One Tree Hill colleagues.
Sophia Bush showed her affection on Snapchat, saying in a video "Duh!" when asked by a fan if she would be watching Kramer's performance.
"You know she's dancing to Gavin DeGraw right? So many feelings! I'm so excited."
And Laguna Beach alum Stephen Colletti, who played Chase on One Tree Hill, gave Kramer a shout-out via Instagram.
"You know who this soldier is voting for on DWTS tonigh.
"Best of luck to one of Tree Hill's own on DWTS. Sorry I couldn't be there for the OTH love, @kramergirl but #teamglamer support up. #othfamily."
What do you think of Kramer's Tango? Think she has a shot to win this season?
