Season 10 of America’s Got Talent came to an end this week, with a field of 10 finalists being reduced to five over the course of a two-part finale.

With a Top 5 of mentalist Oz Pearlman, comedian Drew Lynch, regurgitator Stevie Starr, musical duo The CraigLewis Band and ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, Nick Cannon counted down the results until one act remained.

And that winning act was… PAUL ZERDIN!

The ventriloquist was left speechless (ironic, huh?) after winning by just one percent over Lynch and claiming the $1 million grand prize in the process.

Over the summer, Zerdin proved his comedic chops by using a puppet to come up with various characters and do various impersonations.

The talented British ventriloquist will now headline "America’s Got Talent Live" in Las Vegas from October 22 to 24 at the PH Showroom at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Zerdin is the second ventriloquist to win America’s Got Talent, following Terry Fator in 2007.

But Howard Stern clearly thinks he’s the best, saying of the 2015 victor:

"There’s a reason Paul breezed through every single time he came on: because he is a master at what he does. He’s taking the art of ventriloquism to new heights."
