Kelly Osbourne is here to make a notable celebrity apology.
She's very, very, very sorry for coming across like a huge racist.
As seen in the clip above, Osbourne was discussing Donald Trump during an appearance on The View Tuesday when she made an off-color joke that was met by awkward silence... and then critical reaction.
Addressing the controversial Presidential candidate, Osbourne quipped:
"If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilets, Donald Trump?"
Co-host Rosie Perez immediately responded in anger, while Kelly quickly tried to backtrack, saying she "didn’t mean it like that."
It's safe to assume that Osbourne was speaking from Trump's point of view, remarking on his hypocrisy and how he likely employs many of the people he has called rapists in public.
But it didn't come across well. Hence this Mea Culpa on Facebook.
“I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT,” Osbourne wrote.
"I whole-hearted f—ked up today.
"I don’t want to bulls—t anyone with lame excuses. Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie and couldn’t finish my point, I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words."
Perez actually forgave Osbourne on air, apologizing herself for her interruption.
"Kelly Osbourne is on our side, and I was sensitive," the actress said. "My disdain should only go to Donald Trump, so I'm sorry, darling."
Sounds like this issue is over and done with, especially when you consider all the things Donald Trump himself has said:
