Laurel and Hardy, Martin and Lewis , Franco and Rogen - history is full of classic comedy duos, and now it looks like we might have another pair of names to add to the list of classic clowns.
Yes, if the humor gods are good, Trump and Palin may soon be a team.
It's obviously way too early in primary season to start thinking about running mates, but even though Trump viciously attacked the man who made Palin a household name just last week, he has nothing but kind words for the Alaskan-governor-turned-national-punchline in a recent interview:
“I’d love that,” Trump said when asked about offering Palin a role in his administration from hell.
“She really is somebody that knows what’s happening, and she’s a special person, she’s really a special person, and I think people know that. And she’s got a following that’s unbelievable.”
Yes, even though Trump has been vicious in his verbal assaults against pretty much every other noteworthy Republican, he apparently thinks Palin is a "special person." Did he mean a person with special needs? That's different, Donald!
Seriously though, we live in a world where a man who called an entire country a bunch of rapists just weeks before being accused of raping his wife, and a woman who recently got into a drunken brawl with her entire family could soon be running the United States of America.
Stop giving stupid answers to pollsters, people!
