First, Nick Viall returns to The Bachelorette. Now Josh Murray is reportedly under consideration to be the next star of The Bachelor on ABC come 2016.
He would follow in the footsteps of Chris Soules ... who Andi Dorfman rejected, along with Nick, before getting engaged to Josh on The Bachelorette.
Quite a run for Andi's top three fellas, eh?
According to The Bachelorette spoilers, producers are seriously considering casting Murray, along with some of this year's Bachelorette runners-up.
Generally the next Bachelor comes from the pool of guys competing, in this case for Kaitlyn Bristowe. But Josh is apparently emerging as a favorite.
He certainly looks and acts the part, and after Josh and Andi Dorfman broke up, he is conveniently single again and on the prowl just at the right time.
Fans by and large preferred Josh Murray to Nick Viall the last time around, so there likely exists a fair amount of good will among Bachelor Nation.
His breakup with Andi was also amicable enough - at least publicly - that he hasn't been painted as the cad who broke the brunette beauty's heart.
A previous Bachelor or Bachelorette winner returning to hand out the roses on a future season is not unprecedented, either. Remember Emily Maynard?
The single mom won The Bachelor and got engaged to Brad Womack, only to call that off, become The Bachelorette and get engaged to Jef Holm.
That engagement was even shorter-lived, but you get the idea. Casting Josh in the role is not off the table just because he won. Not by any means.
(Emily has since married to Tyler Johnson, and expecting their first child, having found love once she left reality TV ... she may be onto something.)
What do you think, Bachelor and THG Nation? Should Murray get the nod? Or would you prefer some new blood when the tables turn next winter?
