We interrupt your regularly-scheduled celebrity gossip discussions about the Bruce Jenner sex change and the latest Kim Kardashian Instagram photo to bring you this piece of breaking news:
JANET JACKSON IS MISSING!
Kind of. Sort of. Okay, not really.
But a fan of the singer posted this mock flyer on Twitter last week, wondering when Jackson will “return to the music industry” and actually eliciting an eventual response from Janet herself.
"LOL. Too funny, too sweet," the 48-year-old artist Tweeted in regard to the phony poster.
A sign of Jackson’s popularity, despite her lengthy hiatus from recording new songs, the flyer reads:
"Seriously, Janet, where the hell are you? We NEED you back. We miss you. Your fans miss you. The MUSIC INDUSTRY NEEDS YOU. Come back and show these young whippersnappers how it’s done! We’re not asking. We’re BEGGING!"
Janet Jackson has been keeping a low profile since marrying billionaire Wissam Al Mana way back in 2012.
She was last photographed in Milan in February, departing Giuseppe Zanotti Design, where she was supposedly went right to the source for custom designer shoes.
But Jackson did Tweet "Letting go doesn’t mean you stop" this month, causing many to wonder if she really could be making a musical return soon.
Let’s hope so!
